if they're gonna fire him, they should have done it already. There are no good assistants left and very slim pickings on HC material unless they can get either Patriots coord.

i heard that the chargers would like to have pete carroll if they decide to fire marty.

I have not heard that he was getting fired but pete carrol is not going anywhere this year. He has a very good chsnce to win the Natinal championship next year.

Actually, Robert Gallery makes sense for the Chargers, Marty knows that this is his last year unless they show improvement, they have an AWFUL o-line. Drafting a QB like Manning shows that Marty has given up.

San Diego is already known as the team that passed on Michael Vick. If Eli shows to be like his brother and father and San Diego passes on him that franchise will never forgive itself. They have to take Manning at this point I don't think they have any choice.

Note on this thread: Alot of Charger forum members were scared about another bust at #1 for the QB position (Ryan Leaf). Maybe management isn't shy, but the fans were. You just never know.
Also, each fan board goes in turn. While allowing trades was considered it turned out to be untenable.

Back to the Marty S. topic ... I heard he was against Wade Phillips as the D-Coord, but the FO hired him anyway. Apparently if Shotty goes the Wade maybe promoted to head coach.

Sorry for my delay in answering. Setting up 32 forum registrations is a bit tough.

Basic Rules:
Each fan board gets 24 hours to select their first round pick.
Second- Third round will be 6 hours (3 a day)

When it is the Redskin's turn I will start a thread and all votes there count (unless it is an obvious troll).

I update each board with the previous picks as the draft unfolds.

Links to other boards are not currently provided to reduce the "outside" influence on picks. But after each round I will provide a link with the debates form the boards.

Gallery should be a lock for the Giants...but he may not be a "sexy" enough pick for the fanbase. That being said...I'm predicting Fitz or Taylor to fall off the board at #4.
