I think the skins should trade down between 8 and 12 and get an extra 2nd rounder. In that scenario I would love to see them draft: Round 1) The DE Ukezie from USC, DT Tommy Harris from OU, or if they're gone, RB Kevin Jones from VT. Round 2) DT Chad Lavalais from LSU and LB Teddy Lehman from OU. Round 3) C from Kansas State, or C Jake Grove from VT, S Brandon Everage from OU, or RB Cedric Cobbs from Arkansas.

I also agree with the majority of your scenario dc.Except when we trade down we have to still be able to land Udeze,Harris,Wilfork or Smith for the D-line.I like KJ but we have to get atleast 1 stud for the D-line with our first rounder.RB can be addressed with Greg jones or Chris perry in the second rd.Or through having to tag and trade champ(ex;trade champ to ATL for Duckett and a pick or two.)

Running back can also be handled via free agency. What happens in free agency will determine what we do with the 5th pick. The coaches just finished evaluating the defensive line so it'll be interesting to see if names of free agents start coming out. All rumors of course but Gibbs is going to be criss crossing the country on Redskins1

I agree mostly with you scenario, but think it is imperative we draft for the Defensive Line with our first pick. I think we will end up with a back through FA or our second pick, especially if by trading down we get an extra pick.

I would love sean taylor to be a redskin. It seems like ya'll want to go from worst to best defensive line. why don't we get a stud with the pick that we get if champ leaves and also get sean taylor? then we could get greg jones NOT chris perry (the overated softy) in the second round especially if we trade gardner for a pick. That way we could get hopefully kenchi and taylor in the first, troupe and greg jones in the second, and a sleeper DT like Igor FROM oregon in the third. If we get a solid DT from free agency, our Defensive line would be set not to mention the fact that the rest of our team is awesom too!

(Note: this is ideal, probably won't happen so shaggy and others please don't ruin my dreams by writin somethin that would make me reconsider)

its wishful thinking to say were gonna get 8-12 n a second rounder for our first rounder
although its a good idea, its not likely to happen because the difference between 5 and 8-12 is not worth a second rounder to many teams in the nfl
the only way this deal might happen is if some team really wants a sean taylor, etc, someone who wouldnt be around at #8
