I do not know the quality of the source but I read on the USA Today website that Dennis Green has been indicating that the Cardinals are unlikely to draft a QB with it's first pick.
How do you think this would affect who is available, and who we would take in the draft should we pick 5th?
Does it have any implications on the plans of the Skins, being only two picks later?
If they do not take Roethlisberger as many have expected who do they go for?
Do they trade down?

I hear they are very high on Larry Fitz ...

Green has come out publically saying they won't draft a QB. That could spell trouble for any of us Redskins fans who were hoping to either draft Sean Taylor...OR...trade the pick to a team who wants him. That would really throw a wrench into the top 5 picks of the draft.

Will he get past the Raiders though? Given there receiver situation I will be very surprised.

I think the Raiders need a QB worse than a WR. Even after Rice and Brown are gone, they have Porter who is good. After Gannon keels over at the age of 85, they don't really have much. They might take Fitz, but I don't think it's the best decision for them.

I personally don't think Fitz will get by the Raiders...Gannon will return and there are other QB's in the draft that have Gannon like ability that they can take in later rounds (Matt Shaub) if they don't feel that Tuisassoppo can handle the job.

I think that if the Cards don't take a QB, they're taking Taylor. that would make our position an interesting one.
