Grimm.

Didn't Mark May spend more time playing RT rather than Guard?

Mark Schlereth was good also. Mark May was good as well but I believe he played more Tackle then guard.

Hands down has to be Grimm.

The HOGS rule

You have to love all of them Hogs but the one I think was the most domininent was Russ Grimm.

There is no answer other than Grimm.

May was drafted as a tackle, but was a real bust at that position. He came around as a guard. Jacoby and Starke were the main Tackles.

Russ has to be the obvious winner, but had to vote for one of my all time favorites Mark May! Think he'll have little chance to win the tackle poll also (if you include him) with Joe and Jim on that list. Had to get my vote in even if it's a losing effort! Loved the guys aggression! Of note during his career he was often voted by the Giants players as the dirtiest player in the league!!! Great combo of talent-smarts-and mean!

Russ Grimm!!!

But for you youngsters out there, in the early 70's Paul Laaveg was the "MAN" - a precursor of the definition of a HOG!....... Here's hoping we find an athlete like him for our modern day Redskins! ! !

Actually, it was Schlereth who got another ring with Denver!

Grimm's the MAN, but what about Vince Promuto for consideration?

Bosshogg, nice try! Vince Promuto was the man before man! But who led the way for Riggo? An entire cast. Who led the way for Larry Brown? Paul Laaveg
