Guys & Gals,
Before we start moaning about this player being traded, or this player being cut or demoted...keep in mind how pathetic this team has been recently! OUtside of maybe four players, anyone can go!
The four I would keep:
Randy Thomas
L. Coles
Arrington
Jansen
(maybe Dockery)
thats it.

And Hall...?

I think you have to keep the entire offensive lien together. They started gelling very well last season, and with a run oriented offense, this Lien can be awesome. Others on offense you did not name, well, NONE. On defense, I think besides Arrington, I woudl liek to not move Fred Smoot. Hall has to stay, plus Gibbs will like his leg.

Well, I'd keep Ramsey, and I think PSF is right about Smoot and the O-line. Hall's a keeper, too.

I think Iffy is a keeper too. I know some don't like him, but something about him tells me he's gonna keep getting better.

I love Iffy, he keeps improving and is a great role player, but I don't think he belongs in that "can't be traded" category yet.

Arrington is way overpaid. We never should have resigned him at those bucks. He'd be on my list to go if the deal he got wasn't such a killer on the cap hit we would take.

It was:
A. Either we resign him for "life" and spread that $ over the next few years...
or...
B. Pay him over 10 million this year.
He is was the 2nd overall pick in his draft. He is expensive, and the FO has had to restructure him TWICE because the Skins went too deep into the cap.

I'm iffy about Iffy. There are no "sacred cows", everyone has to prove themselves. Gibbs will probably make many decisions based on tape. All crybabies go the %$%# home.

Bowen
Iffy
Smoot
Bailey
Arrington
Dockery
Thomas
Jansen
Coles
Ramsey
Hall
Others could include ...
the long snapper (who was perfect last season)
Samuals (I'm torn on him but he's due at least "could" consideration)
What stands out (if I'm not completely off-base)
MLB should be a sacred cow position
RB should be a sacred cow position
at least one D-Lineman should be a sacred cow position

He does fall into the "must re-sign" category, though.

I am not as high on Iffy as you all, if we choose Taylor, i would not spend and arm and leg to keep him.
Dockery over Bailey? Yes. Why? Cause Dockery will be here, Champ will not.

Champ is always everybody's sacred cow except we have never had a playoff team with Champ so apparently he is not that critical to our success. There are no sacred cows.

I would keep Dockery over Samuels, he's the next Larry Allen. I still dont think Bailey will be worth the money someone gives him. And if the Skins do keep Bailey, they cant keep Smoot when he comes up for Free Agency next year. I dont want this team to suck, you want the Skins to suck by cramming up the cap with Bailey's contract.

No...i dont want us to suck...ill say it again for the 50th time. BAILEY IS THE BEST CB IN THE NFL...hes not worth the money??? your wrong.

NO HE ISNT...Ty Law, a healthy Sam Madison and McAlister are better(i'd even take Charles Woodson over Bailey), they are worth the money. Bailey will not be worth the money anyone gives him.

Taylor will look real nice chasing down the receivers Bailey couldn't cover for a full 5 seconds because our D line coudn't rush the passer, which is what will happen if we draft Taylor.

Also, this team has a lot of talent, but they havent done anything with that talent: Maybe Gibbs should shake up the roster....
