I'm usually skeptical of the Drudge Report, but an interesting read nonetheless.

Interesting, kind of explains why Dean is hanging around: perhaps he thinks that this may unseat Kerry?

Took 4 days for the Lewinski story to finally break.

Wesley Clark is likely to endorse Kerry in Wisconsin according to USA Today. Would he do this if he knew an intern issue is about to bring Kerry down.

If Bill Clinton told him to sure. Think about it. If the Dems win the election, Hilary will more then likely have to wait till 2012 to run for President. She doesn't want to wait that long. Is it any suprise that Kerry is being shot down? Democratic Frontrunners are getting picked off, and its not the Republicans that are doing it. So if Bush wins this election, then Hilary is open for 2008. It makes perfect sense, at least to me.

I would hate a hillary clinton presidency. She is one of my least favorite people on this planet.

I do not have a grasp on American politics, please explain why Wesley Clark would ruin his reputation even if Bill Clinton told him too.

It's all about Partisan politics in this country. It's not about may the best man win, it's about may my party win and my party only just because its my party.

Still waiting for this "story" to break. Really guys, start reading reputable news sources. I mean the article make no sense. A freind goes to a reporter. Why in the world would this reporter then not keep a lid on the story until he breaks it. Why would every news source have knowledge? Makes no sense.

Ah, there is a difference. In the Bush case there is a witness, here you have nothing absolutely nothing. You've all been played, but don't know it because you believe everything that is reported as long as it is to your favor.

You crack me up. Some yahoo says he saw something 30 years ago and you take it as fact but some woman who denies being an adulterer is reliable. To borrow from you, "you believe everything that is reported as long as it is to your favor".

You guys are really reaching at threads here if you think this junk is they key to having your boy re-elected. When I say junk, I refer to the rumurs you cite as irefutable facts.

The Bush-Cheney campaign has been this thing around to journalists for weeks. Chris Lehane whispered it in Wes Clark's ear. It's just sour grapes because Kerry fired Lehane last year after Lehane urged Kerry to go negative on Howard Dean and Kerry refused. Lehane is a hatchet man who will now never get a job in a Democratic campaign ever again.
In any case, it's been knocked down completely. Rupert Murdoch's right-wing media empire ran it big-time all over the world [especially in the USA, UK, and Australia] and now they have a lot of egg on their faces. Not that it damages Fox's reputation much, since their reputation is so shabby to begin with. As for Drudge, you'd have to have a reputation before you could damage it. Responsible journalists ignored it and they look good.

That makes it the word of the two people accused against the word of an acknowledged scandal-mongerer like Matt Drudge.
Case closed. On to the next smear.
