I've seen some mocks projecting the Skins to take Gallery. This is usually because they have the Giants opting for Taylor. This pick makes no sense to me, unless they see the Skins moving him inside to guard. If he could play guard, then Gallery, Samuels, Jansen, and Thomas would give the Skins the best OL in the league on paper. Maybe then they could just stick with Ladell Betts and/or Rock Cartwright at RB.
Even without Gallery (since the pick still doesn't seem to make much sense) I think Betts and/or Cartwright would be just as effective as Greg Jones, who I think will end up being more disappointing then the hype around him right now would indicate. I'd rather see the team go for a TE like Ben Watson from UGA in round 2 as opposed to getting another RB.
