Think Kerry can win among swing voters? These are the statistics of independents and republicans voting in the last 4 open primaries .. i based this on voter surveys vs actual number of voters so there's a certain margin of error ... source for #s was msnbc.com.

How They Fared With Republicans:
Edwards - 43% (54,235 combined)
Kerry - 17% (21,684 combined)
The Rest - 40% (combined)

How They Fared With Independents:
Edwards - 38.5% (178,721)
Kerry - 30% (139, 142)
The Rest - 31.5% (combined)

What is this perceived electability he's running on?

I like edwards on the democratic side of the hall, I hope he pulls out a surprise and beats kerry....

i did see on c-span, however, that 2/3 of edward's voters polled would vote for kerry should he win the nomination.

You don't think the numbers would be the same if not better if flipped?
