I kinda hear you on that...I unlike others on this site don't particularly care for Ramsey...he's too goody goody for me....you know, Not getting madd when he gets pumbled week in and week out....doesn't tell me he's smart, it tells me he's stupid...he reminds me of a cowboy that just will not accept no by a girl he's hitting on...doesn't get it...but I say Pitts second and third...we can get decent players that won't cost as much....that could add depth to us....

My only ? is to you Goodguy is did you hear something new or different from what we have on the site? If not this subject has been here and gone...? Just wanna know.

No vote......Ramsey does not suck. Everyone in the football world knows the QB he will be and thats a great one. I dont wanna see him go off and be a great qb in a different uniform.

I haven't heard Ramsey publically "cry or whine" as many indicated he did. Can someone forward me the link in which he was doing so? (caution~ Loaded question)

What have you guys seen that makes you believe Ramsey will be a great quarterback? He holds the ball too dang long. Can't make quick decisions and is immobile. My eyes were opened when Hasslebeck came into games and hit receivers on time!

hail2skins
02-19-2004, 09:33 AM
Yeah and most of those passes were to backs out of the backfield only 2 to 3 yards downfield.

Ramsey holds to ball too long on ocassion but Spurrier's offense required him to hold the ball too long because it required more time for the receivers to complete their routes. When Hass came in, he wasn't running Spurrier's offense. So our eyes were open when both QB's played.

until Ramsey comes out and says I want to be traded this is all B.S. and I want him back in B&G

Man how easily people forget the Dallas game....that kid took the beating of a lifetime and came back for more. He never gave up and we came within 1 score in that game. Ram is all heart and bleeds B&G.

we are stupid if we trade ramsey
burnell will be retired in two years...
and he will only plan 8 games this year if that
he is a senior citizen who can barely get out of his own way

dude i am a big redskins fan , but if we can get the kid QB from virnigia scurb or something, in like round 3 or 4, get brunell, he learn under brunenll and trade ramsey for a 1 frst i would be the happiest man on the planet, ramsey can not last a season, he played only what 8 games, healthy , what future is that , with a qb that is always hurt come on guys, scrub from va is 6-5 230 runs liek a 4.7 big time arm and was acc player of the year in 2002 get him get brunell, lets move on thank u

RedskinsDave

Junior, did you watch the games last year? You are quite possibly the only person on the planet who would question Ramsey's durability.

On second thought, the prosecution would like to redirect in light of further evidence.

mrgoodguy82
02-19-2004, 11:33 AM
ok old man but why cant he stay healthy the hole season, david carr in texas played all 16 games, mcnair too, so why is ramsey so special , he cant even finsh a season, how is that a good future,

How about some typing and spelling skills

RedskinsDave

Be fair jonesy, he apparently has incredibly poor sight as he missed Ramsey getting beat to a pulp last year.

Patrick
02-19-2004, 11:47 AM
As exposed as Ramsey was last year, coupled with his attempting to learn to get rid of the ball faster (granted he wasn't learning fast enough to survive the entire season) in a very flawed system, he prove to me and several others throughout the NFL that he is a very tough kid with some serious skills. Skills that many teams would love to get their hands on. ... I would suggest you go back and do some homework (English would help) on the subject.

MrGoodGuy82, even if you had some valid points to get across, I wouldn't be able to take them seriously with that spelling and punctuation. Please proof read

btw mrgoodguy, the QB from UVA is Shaub and yes I do like him a lot but I doubt he lasts past the 3rd...oh and David Carr did not play all 16 games, he missed weeks 5,12,14, and 15. McNair missed weeks 9, 15, and 17 (though the last one was probably just to save him for the playoffs). Ramsey missed week 8 and then the last 5, (I must say that of the weeks these three QB's missed, one was probably a bye week) and I need to remind you that while he was in, he was the most sacked QB in the league. He took the punishment and came back till it just took its toll...so there should be no question on his toughness.

I'm still standing firm as an oak, but I will allow myself to be goaded a little.

Goodguy. Go back and watch the Jets game. Watch him duck and throw a bomb to Coles. Watch him be "immobile" as he takes off in a sprint and gains a first down on a key conversion. Watch him be nominated as Horse Trailer Player of the game, or NFC player of the week. See how he plays when we don't have 6 guys rushing and four to protect.

Calm (he didn't cry while getting killed).

Tough ( he got drilled even more times than the sack numbers show).

Durable (Played through great pain that only the damned must suffer. Try taking a drop back on a foot that kills you to even put weight on it).

Classy (Never bashed the team when he certainly had a right and didn't bash the team when Brunell surfaced in the news. He was miffed and upset, but he didn't bash the team or anyone.)

I'm just glad that you're fairly lonely in your assessment.
