According to sources at the combine Wilfork has lost close to 40 lbs since the last game at Miami. He is now tipping the scales at 315 lbs. This guy looks like a beast who could help us in two areas of need : stopping the run and sacking the QB. I don't care what he runs in the 40 if he can stay under 330lbs he will be a force in the middle for a long time to come.

Just because he is able to lose weight does not mean that he can keep/will it off indefinitely. I would not mind taking him with a mid-first pick, but top ten is too high for a guy with so many question marks.

Now he's too light - I think most team would like to see him be around 325.

Wilfolk is a good player but he is not as talented as Sapp was when he came out of school

Wilfork still has to prove he will give all his effort every play and not take plays off. If he could do that he'd be a top 10 pick easy but thats the question about him.

I agree he isn't top ten material but I for one would love to trade down and get him. This would also allow us to recoup our third round pick. I also don't think he will be able to stay that light but he would still free up our LB to make plays.

Wilfolk would be a good pick if he could stay at that weight but he won't
