I just saw Lost in Translation, this movie was awful, I didn't even finish watching it, what was all the hype about?

I haven't seen "Mystic River" or "House of Sand & Fog"

I loved Johnny Depp in "Pirates", and Jude Law in "Cold Mountain" so of the 3 I saw, my pick is for Jude Law

Hated "Lost in Translation". GibbsGirl~ I agree that there was WAY too much hype for such a crappy movie.

Saw "Mystic River" and thought it was amazing. I also read the book by Dennis Lehane, and thought Eastwood did as good of a job brining it to the big screen as anyone could. Anyway, Sean Penn was awsome in this role, and should be a lock for the win, IMO.

I'm chocked... Lost In Translation is one of the best movie ever (maybe i'm a little bit too enthiusasmic...) Well it was great maybe too much "european", but it was great. I picked Sean Penn, Mystic River is a classic and Sean Penn is wonderful in this movie. Bill murray is a close second for me.
