Clarrett is really pissing the NFL off....First he wins a case against them and then wants to be a part of the league....? What is that about?...Then he doesn't want to work out at the combines..he's just making it worse for himself....Then he says that he'll have a workout at Ohio State in early April...so if I'm a team that wants to see, you mean I have to spend money to come and see this kid work out...knowing what his attitude about himself is? He has alot of nerve....
Then he said his mother was the one that told him not to work out?....and he thinks he'll be a regular player in the league...I pray we don't get hitched with him..that'll be more contraversy in Ashburn....
OH and he mentioned that Jimmy Sexton is one of the finalists to be his agent..Joe do not go near this guy with a ten foot pole...unless you're ready to swing it....!
Don't worry though the refs won't be throwing flags when he get's tackled....lololol And you think Ramsey got pounded....?
:smash: WOW!!!!!

If he goes out and puts on a great workout in front of the scouts in April no one will care about what his past is. I think the guy has issues but he also has a lot of talent. I also think its smart of him to skip on workouts this week when he acknowledges he's out of shape. If he worked out this week and did awful he would likely never recover in the draft and cost himself millions. Look at what happened with Terrell Suggs last year, he was admittingly overweight worked out anyhow and ended up running slow and nearly falling out of the top 10. If you work out and don't perform it is a lot worse then not working out at all.

I'd draft him and develope him behind Staley or Dillon (Not sure how we're gonna have the money for all these veterans) If you tell Joe Gibbs the words character issues, you might as well be speaking Swahili.

He is only hurting himself by not physically working out at the combine. It's his career he is toying with...so he is the one who has to pay the consequences.
Obviously he is not in tip top shape, otherwise we would see him lace up and work out. On the NFL Network last night, he admitted the real reason he is not working out is because he is not 100% fit yet...and wants to be 100% for the team workouts.

I don't want another whiney pre-madonna on this team. He's really unproven even in the college level. Gambling, greedy, and full of himself. Not the kind of guy I want to root for every Sunday after church.

If were to run a sub 4.5 40, everyone will change their tune very quickly. I don't think he will, but I think the point is clear.

I still say A. Smith is our best option at RB, he is a vet, which Joe will want and he should come cheaper than the other options and from the cap article I just read we need a lot of cheap players to fill in

i heard he was out of shape. i personally think he is going to have a difficult time in the league but will survive longer than he should based on potential alone. sorta like ryan leaf and jeff george.
