Last week we did a Poll, do you favor getting Mark Brunell?
Thread: Brunell Poll (http://www.hailredskins.com/vbforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8287&highlight=brunell+poll)
That poll casted 88 votes....37.5 in FAVOR of Brunell, 62.5 AGAINST Brunell
New poll now that Brunell is signed
Thread: New Brunell, Post agreement (http://www.hailredskins.com/vbforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8745)
68.5% for signing 31.4 AGAINST
what gives?

I think people have had more time to digest the idea and perhaps more importantly, people have discovered Brunell is an excellent quarterback. I think a lot of people had the misconception that all Brunell did was run around a lot....which is not true at all. The guy only averages about 40-50 rushes per year and for quarterbacks like Ramsey that would convert into about 20 sacks.
The guy is a talented quarterback.....and Ramsey is starting to sound like a spoiled brat thanks to his agent......

Last week, it was speculated that Brunell would cost a 2nd rounder. Many were against giving up a pick in that round. Since the Skin's FO only gave up a 3rd, I think some have decided that particular price was adequate...
