Was/is he a scrambler?
If yes at least that will be an improvement.
I like that he is a lefty.

He's not Michael Vick, but he and Favre were very similar scramblers a few years ago. Their legs have declined equally over the past couple of seasons, though.

thinkin' amd thinkin' and thhhhhh - ooopps - a good article 'bout our new guy?
well - he's old, he's expansive, he's injuried prone, he costs a 3rd round draft, he isn't a winner, he' s banishing ramsey (a future 'skins pro bowler - maybe?) and nuzzin' more

The thing is Gibbs is coming in here to win now and Ramsey has not proved he can do that... yet. Gibbs has always went with a Vet QB and I still say Joe knows football. I for one am looking forward to see Mark play here in DC and hopefully lead us to the playoffs

Brunell is not the runner he was in his youth. But he has pocket presence. He knows when to move out of the pocket; he can rollout which increases options on offense and relieves pressure from blitzing teams.

And this injury prone stuff is getting real old. The guy missed part of last season to a lacerated elbow and the Jags decided to stay with Leftwich. Prior to that, Brunell played 15-16 games every year. Hell, Ramsey was injured more in one year than Brunell his entire career........

do not forget: brunell was supported with a very strong running game - a thing we don't have (yet) - oh man - stephen i miss you

Clinton Portis could alleviate that problem.

First of all let me say this...I love Ramsey and will miss him dearly if we trade him. But.....If we make it to the post-season, Like Brunell has in the past(So he is more of a Winner than Ram) it will make Losing Ram alot more tolerable. Besides, Brunell has more of the intangible talents than Ram has. He may not have the Cannon arm but he has the pocket presence and mobility. Right now brunell is a better QB than Ram. Hopefully Ram sticks around for a few seasons and realizes his potential in a skins uniform.
