Forget Ramsey. He is not quite the character guy we all thought he was. He is just another spoiled kid who thinks he has "earned" the right to be the starter at QB when his record for his career is well below .500%. This Sexton snake has us under the guillotine because of his involvement with Samuels and Kleinsasser. I guess Ramsey is gone, and I say good riddance, I was willing to put up with some crap but when he tells his AGENT to tell JOE GIBBS and CO. that he does not CONSIDER HIMSELF A REDSKINS ANYMORE he can take his sub-500 record, strong arm, bad head, and broken foot with him somewhere else. It's time to turn the page on Spurrier and that team anyway, we've got a winner in Brunell now, something we didn't have before.

The problem is that this 'friction' ends when Ramsey is traded. Or Samuels is cut

I do believe Sexton is going to make things ugly for the Skins and might get both of his clients (Ram and Chris) moved to another team

someone needs to find a phonebook and hire a hitman to get rid of this guy......j/k...but i dont like the sounds of this article at all. just by reading it says no ramsey, no samuels, no kleinsasser. how depressing. i still say that if ramsey is still here, he will be seeing some time because who knows how long it will be before brunell is injured. who knows, ram could even beat out brunell in camp despite brunell new found wealth. someone needs to tell Pat that the grass isnt always greener on the other side.......

Id take a first rounder for Ramsey and end all this tension

I would take a 1st and a late rounder from Miami (5th - 6th) for Patrick. I would ask for a lot because we are giving We invested a 1st round draft choice and time with Patrick. The key element is time. Patrick is a proven NFL QB. Miami is not taking a big gamble on Patrick. Miami is giving up an unknown player, who may or may not be successful in the NFL.

F Sexton. Ramsey will stay because he is cheap, if for no other reason. Moreover, Samuels has SUCKED the lat 2 years, so cut him if he won't restructure. It may hurt cap wise but not as much as paying his full salary next year.
Let me see if I get this one. If Ramsey makes less money w/out the incentives, Sexton makes less money, right. And, if Brunell starts, Jansen will be protecting the blind side. This somewhat diminishes Samuel's importance some what. Sexton is not a happy camper as far as the Skins go.

The tension- yeah I definately do not like it. One way or the other there can't be clashing quarterbacks on the same team and although I would hate to see Ramsey go, I would hate even more for this to be a distraction for a long period of time.

I'm personally of the attitude that if ANY current player we have on our roster doesn't want to be a Redskin... than get rid of them. If they have market value like Bailey and Ramsey do, then get what we can for them and move on.
This guy Sexton is just a buisness man and realizes that Ramsey as well as himself will lose a ton of money in his performance rich contract if Ramsey's beaten out of the starting QB position by a guy who got injured in the 3rd game last year and never regained his starting job.
Trust me, if the Redskins offer any of Sexton's clients a better offer than any other team, they'll sign here.

Ramsey will just have to deal with the situation. If he is so childish and immature to hold out or purposely play poorly to force a trade, he only hurts himself with other teams. Same for Sexton if he allows that kind of stuff to happen.
Having said that, if the right draft choices/players are offered to help the Skins then do it. I agree with skinsone.....It needs to be more than just a first unless it is a very high first pick. He is a semi-proven commodity unlike the kids coming out of college.

After a 5-11 season, no one better think Joe is going to come in here and not make changes, If Ram doesn't like it, he can deal with it or get traded. Either Joe has already made the choice that maybe our QB position needed a change. It is going to be an fun offseason

Mr. "NO" Sex is ruining Ramseys chance of staying in Washington. This is coming out like Ramsey has said this and that. What if the Redskins don't trade him? Then he has to deal with the fans.
I'm just so fed up with all of this crap. What ever happened to earning the job? Damn I hate the off season!

I am getting so tired of all this crap with Ramsey and his idiot agent. He isnt the competitor i thought he was. He was one of my favorite players on the Redskins, but I am more of a fan of the Redskins than any one player. So i think it is time for him to go!!
And if Sexton will use this problem with Ramsey against the Redskins on the Samuels problem i say get rid of samuels also.
We should be able to get some good draft picks for the both of them.
