Who should we draft with our first pick?

It really depends on the moves we make after March 3rd and what we get for Champ IMO.Still too soon to say,but probably the top defensive player on the board or we trade down to acquire an additional pick.

I would like to see them draft D-Line first. Even if they have to trade down to get the proper value for thier pick. The last time they drafted a D-linemen in the first round it was K. Lang and then they let him leave via free agency.

I think we should definately get Sean Taylor. Just think what Roy Williams did to the Cowboys Franchise. Or what Rodney Harrison means to the World Champs. An elite safety could help both run & pass defences. I agree the skins need improvement on the D-line but still a great DB.

We definitely need Sean Taylor...many have said that he will be top player in this draft in a few years...IMO

Generally, drafting the best player available is better than drafting based on need. In a perfect world the best player on the board when we are on the clock would be a D-lineman, but since the world isn't perfect Taylor should be our man. That could turn out very nice indeed!

Either one of the Miami kids. ST or KW2. Both can be stars and look what JS did for the Giants and RW for Dallas. I believe that they have the potential to be stars. A late round pick could be Jason Peters (TE) from Penn ST.
