LOTR ..the rest are not even a close second. I have seen them all and LOTR blew my mind.

Something to chew on:
Return of the King won 11 Oscars, tied for most ever. It won every one it was nominated for, which hasnt happened to any movie that won more than 3 or Best Picture. And it is the second highest grossing movie of all time: over 1 billion dollars.
AND: The Two Towers is the fifth highest grossing movie of all time, and Fellowship of the Ring is the eighth Highest grossing movie of all time. Together the movies have made: $2,787,700,000: All three movies cost 300 million dollars to make, total.
