It seems that the trade will end up like this. I have already lost count of who agrees and who doesn't. Let's make it official. Do we agree or disagree??

Hopefully we could keep the 2nd round pick.

A the best corner in the NFL and a high second round pick for a top five running back (with some questions around him) is not zero-sum. We are getting the short end of this deal.

Lets see, perhaps if we throw in Arrington, Coles and Ramsey the Broncos may let us keep our second. We should be dictating terms, not the Broncos.

RB's are involved in a lot more plays than cbs

And they grow on trees compared to quality corners.

I wish it wasn't the second round pick but Portis is still too good not to trade Bailey.

Champ for Portis, straight up. No second round pick. If anybody should be giving anyone a 2nd round pick, the Broncos should be giving us their 's.

If denver wants a pick along with champ give them our 5th the 2nd is too valuable. This is a deep draft

I like Portis but I think Champ is worth the even trade. We shouldn't be the ones giving up the extra pick.

We are acting as if they franchised Portis or something!

I want Portis, but I don't know why we also have to send a 2nd in addition to Bailey to Denver to get him. Straight up should be enough.

Voted no on the 2nd rounder,,,but lets talk to Mike about the 05 2nd!?!!?? I say that becauce if Portis comes in here and completely kicks ass this year, no one is going to have a legit complaint next April, we can all nod in our wisdom that it was a draftpick well spent. It's a little hard to accept this year because we have so few? But to let this possibility to get away may have far reaching implications! I try to put myself in an Broncos fan shoes, I'd be like wtf Mike??? Sure Champs a very good player, BUT NO PORTIS??? Again don't think about it too long! Throw caution to the wind! With this one move we can have the best running game in the East for years to come!!! Plus to take it futher, once Mark steps down you have two young guys in Clint and Pat that can develope together into a deadly combo!!!

I agreed. RB is a larger part of the "O" than corner is of the "D".

I would rather not give up the 2nd but if it was a matter of getting Portis or keeping the 2nd rounder I say take Portis. So I agree with the trade.

Yea I agree we should keep our 2nd. I mean a shut-down CB is more valuable than any RB but we are going to loose Champ anyways so we might as well get one of the most if not most explosive young RB in hte game today but I think we should give them the 5th round pick and not the 2nd. It is a deep draft and we dont have a lot of picks the high 2nd is too valuable.

No problem here with sending then our 2nd rounder. Besides, we will get it back when we trade down from #5.

The Skins are more desperate to trade Bailey than the Broncos are desperate to trade Portis. Portis is on contract with Denver. There in lies the second round pick. Denver has the leverage.

Oh yeah. By the way. I love the deal. Bring Portis in ASAP.

I don't see us as desperate to trade Champ. We just franchised his butt. If the deal with Denver doesn't go down, sit back and let other teams come to us and offer some goods. With extra draft picks we could probably pick someone like Chris Perry out of Michigan and work on our defense. Offering the second along with Champ is too steep a price IMO.

Maybe someone found the poll and voted, which pushed it up, but it's a weird occurrence.
