...on madden...i just gave my franchise brunell, kearse, portis, kleinsesser, coleman, winfield, and i drafted a dt and named him starks (mid first round as if we traded down)...i simulated once and the skins were undefeated and won the super bowl...portis rushed for 1600...cant wait til next august! atleast theres one sure thing about this team!

In my Madden, I created Jim Brown and Bronko Nagurski in the backfield and then traded the '55 Browns our 7th round pick for Otto Graham. We went 13-3, lost in the NFC championship.

You got to have a good defense to win anything and so I need to see what they do to improve it before I forcast their record. Their offense should be top 5 if they get Portis and a good TE.

yeah its always risky predicting records anyway even if they do get d help...anything could happen...but they are a lock to be a top madden contender...im going to lose my excuse for when i lose now... i cant say "well i was the redskins and they are only an 82"

Skaggs was one of my favorites. Loved watching him during camp in Carlisle. I wished he'd gotten a chance to stick.

Then again Trung Canidate is a beast in Madden. Screen Pass is unstoppable (without leaving a WR wide open).

Also can anyone explain to me why Tiki Barber is a beast in this game? I mean hes a decent back, but every time I play against him he has at least one 40 yard run with 4 broken tackles. I mean LA and Tiki head to head shouldn't even be a matchup it should be murder.

truth is Madden is O.K. at predicting talent. But not even close to real life.

Another hint, if you are playing the game yourself (and not simulating to make up for his lack of awareness), make Sultan Mcculough your kick returner and watch him tear down STs with his 97 speed.

Already did that and Sultan is a beast. He is also the 3rd down back on my squad. In my franchise I traded Gardner for Magehee from the Bills. He is a beast. Trung gets tackled too easily. Sultan is a monster on Kick Returns though.

I like to trade for T.J. Duckett. He didn't cost me much(Trung and a 3rd or 4th round pick) and develops fast. I trade a lot of big name players in my first year, so I get into cap hell the next season.

Yeah Trung kinda sucks first season, but I played that on Rookie so I didn't notice. but after that I love doing the mini camps, after a couple years of pumping his break tackle Trung is a monstar.
