1. Search Engine

2. Great discussion. The fans are by far the most knowledgeable of any forum.

3. I have been here a fairly long time, and the main difference is activity.

4. Better

5. This is not only the best Redskins message board, but the best 'Skins news site as well.

6. Of course

7. The admins always answer your questions, no matter how stupid they may be(CarMike knows what I'm talking about:D)

8. Don't touch a thing

9. Neither

10. Yes

1. I was at HQ back in the day and came over at the beginning

2. I signed up at the beginning, but I've stayed because there is actually intelligent conversation that I haven't found elsewhere.

3. The site has changed quite a bit, but on the whole I think it has been for the better.

4. Certainly Better.

5. I view the front page from time to time, but I find it a bit cluttered for my tastes.

6. see above.

7. the people and that there aren't 1092084 people posting whatever they feel about anything.

8. Not a lot. This site is pretty comprehensive in its content. different color scheme options (in the forums especially) would be nice and a little easier on the eyes.

9. I think the mods do a great job. You have to be a bit of jerk enforcing the rules sometimes, but it keeps the forums clean and in good shape.

10. It's my home page

1.I use to subscribe to Warpath magazine and started looking for skins info on their site.A member there gave a link to this site one day and I have never been back.

2.A couple of things kept me here.I have an insatiable thirst for redskins news and theres no better source to get skins news from than here IMHO.Also there are so many wonderful debates and intelligent and heated conversations.I guess just all the people that seem to post here on a regular basis have made me want to stay.

3.Ive been a member for about a year now. There have been subtle changes I suppose,I remember when the entire look of the site changed(new software perhaps,I dunno),youll have to excuse me im somewhat computer challenged still lol.Other than that it has only improved on accuracy and promptness in delivering info and providing intelligent discussions.

4.Better for all the reasons stated above.

5.I usually read the front page articles and check out the links on breaking news.

6.yes very informative, easy to read and no way you miss the big story.

7.The knowledge and passion of our members as well as the respect shown one another here.

8.I dont know enough about running a web site to tell you.If you can swing season tickets for all members Im in,otherwise I like It just the way It Is.

9.No not at all,you keep every one in line and reduce clutter allowing threads to grow. While also ensuring that the proper respect is shown to our members and others.

10.Are you kidding me,im up here like all the time. Its definately on my favorites list. :D

1-Search engine, was looking for mock draft web sites.
2-Late Feb. '04, love for the skins keeps me here. Also, up until now I was the most knowledgable Skins fan I knew. That has changed.
4-Have not been here long enough to answer
5-I view the front page a lot
6-Front page is set up great
7-Hearing the viewpoints of other skins fans-also some real funny, original posts
8-I like NCskinsfanatic's answer here, I agree
9-Haven't been here long and I have already seen a couple guys get told to "calm down". I think that is a good thing cuz I would not want to come here if I was worried about beeing personally attacked.
10-This site is my homepage. Hail to the Redskins!

1. Searching for mock draft databases.

2. The information and link to articles on the homepage. It was like a one stop place for all the days articles on the Skins. That and Kenny! :D

3. The homepage has. I remember when it was a white screen. The changes, IMO, have been mostly cosmetic. The content has remained superior, or even improved in some cases.

4. Better. In the early days, most of the posting was done by the owners. Now as the membership has grown, we have more members contributing which eases the burden on the owners to start and maintain conversation as well as providing a more diverse background in the discussions.

5. Both.

6. Yes.

7. You can start a thread or contribute to a thread and come back the next day and still see it in active discussion, or at least you could until coach Gibbs came back and this Portis trade came up. Forums have been hopping. That and patient administrators (CarMike knows)!

8. Better avatars for the pick 'em league champion, whoever that was!

3. Not been here real long, so not much has changed.

4. Better.

7. All the great people who post here.

8. not much.

1. I found hR from a site called www.footballsfuture.com which featured uri's mock draft

2. it's more fun than talking to my mom about football

3.i have only been a member since january

4. it has gotten better, with all the hot topics up for discussion

5. mostly just the forums and the mock draft database

6. yes, very much

7. the way everything is well-managed, clean, and basically a lot of fun

8. maybe you could add a chat room for live discussion

1 Searched Google for Mock Drafts and found your site. Just lucked out I guess. Great site!!
2 I loved the INTELLIGENT discussion and debate on the forum. It is so refreshing that there is virtually no trash talking (THANKYOU Moderators!!)
3 I'm still pretty new
4 About the same
5 I check it out from time to time; especially the list of Redskins related articles. I also check out the Mock drafts on a regular basis.
6 It's good, not great. Pretty basic presentation. Easy to navigate and find things but not the "prettiest" interface.
7 The great discussion in the forums without the trash talking
8 I love the statistical and historical data on ExtremeSkins.com and go there often to find info to support arguments here. Would be nice if those resources were available on your site. But that is a lot of work. Same with the Skins fight song and wallpaper options. But your forums and their participants is FAR superior.
9 You guys do a great job keeping things under control.
10 Damn straight, I do!! I've become addicted! And the season hasn't even begun yet.

1. A buddy of mine from down in your neck of the woods told me about it.
2. The fact that I can talk about the Skins all day with fellow fans, without a lot of expletives and other things like that.
3. I joined in the middle of the summer, site has remained the same as it was then.
4. Not a lot of change, people have been a little jumpier lately after Gibbs and some of the posts have gotten nasty, but that's it.
5. I enjoy some of the articles you guys write, always check out the mock drafts.
6. It gets the job done, nothing flashy. Still love "Hail to the Redskins" playing each time I visit.
7. Being able to talk about the Redskins with other fans. I don't get that much anywhere else.
8. I don't think anything needs improvement. Maybe stepping in a bit more when things are said in the forums and getting people off the site.
9. You guys could be a bit more strict letting people know via a PM or in the forum itself that they are being inappropriate.
10. Absolutely, I've been here nearly everyday since I found out about it.

2. Look on my name, i dont know i havent been real active but the political forum was what originaly kept me here. But i was banned from it. I think the main thing that has kept mehere is the infomation on stuff, i first heard about the Portis Deal on this board, you guys have allways been pretty good about getting up to date information.

3.I havent

4.

5. I use the front page quite abit

6 Its a bit of a mess buts its alright..

7. Up to date info, trade rumors, fa signings ect ect...

8. A different song intro as you come into the board maybe a pick your own song type of thing

9. Nah, your fine there. However you could allow a bit more cussing

1. I surfed on

2. May 2003, at first I worried, because I realized there were no other girls here, and most men have little tolerance for women talking about sports. But I was immediately welcomed and have never been ridiculed for my opinions.

3. Way too many redundant posts. But I know the fellas are trying very hard to fix this!!!!

4. Again, my only issue would be too many new threads. If you miss a day it takes forever to catch up on what everyone is saying. Perhaps if there is a big “thing” like Portis, Brunell etc…we could have a “Talk about Brunell in here” thread, and any new threads that someone posts can be funneled into it?…I dunno…

5. I view it about once a week. Don’t be mad…

6. I do

7. I like that some of you can make me want to scream with the things you say in the Political forum…(ya bunch of narrow minded Democrats…) but man I do love the things you say about my Skins!!! I have learned soooo much! And this makes me very happy with the whole stinking, liberal lot of ya….~grin~

I don't like the colors much, and came here because of thewarpath.net. I come back to check out the Mocks. Your forums are lively, but clutterred with pictures that are too large. Did I mention the colors? The training camp links are great, but I get my info from the washpost & washtimes. I come infrequently.
Born and raised in the D.C. area, so, Redskin fan by birthright!
Wish your colors were more eye friendly for us older posters. I'm glad you hold onto my cowroid reference on each post.

1. How did you get here, or shall I say, find hR?
theredzone.org has some link thing i followed to get here

2. When you did get here, what kept you here?
i wanted to do my own skins site, but everything i wanted to do was here, and im lazy

3. If you have been a member for awhile, has the site changed much?
not really, grown a bit i would say

4. Since you have become a member, has the forum gotten better or worse?
better

5. Do you view the front page of the web site much, or just the forum only?
just the forum with an occasional glance at the home page

6. Do you like the design of the front page hR
not really. i dont really like the color scheme and the layout.

7. What do you like best about hR?
the environment on the forums. i used to split between this and gamefaqs, but its so immature and childish over there. it can be like that here, but in a good way.

8. What do we need to improve?
i would say a new design for the homepage.

9. Are we too strict in the forum, just right, not stric enough (content wise)
i would say just right

10. Do you have us bookmarked?
not anymore. i would, but again, im too lazy. i dont have any site bookmarked, so dont feel left out.

1. How did you get here, or shall I say, find hR?

2. When you did get here, what kept you here?

> News links in and outside the local area
> Some excellent regular posters
> Civility and respect within the forum

3. If you have been a member for awhile, has the site changed much?

> I'm sure it has in the past year plus but it has maintained a familiar feel throughout

4. Since you have become a member, has the forum gotten better or worse?

5. Do you view the front page of the web site much, or just the forum only?

As we continue in the off-season to make this site even better and improve, help us out with the following:

5. Yes, I scour the front page thoroughly for new headlines and info everytime I log on.

6. Yes, although a wee bit cluttered

7. V friendly members, who are more than willing to help with questions/great source of up-to-date info on the 'Skins

8. Personally would like more info on 'Skins players (stats, your concerns, their improvements, etc) and some more info on our opposition.

2. When you did get here, what kept you here?
I don't recall when. I am a DIE HARD skins fan...nuff said! :D

3. If you have been a member for awhile, has the site changed much?

A little, but I don't notice a whole lot, I just roll with the punches.

4. Since you have become a member, has the forum gotten better or worse?

BETTER. Pretty much cause it's bigger now. I also belong to warpath, and I don't like going there too often cause not many people post. I like it here cause more people post.

5. Do you view the front page of the web site much, or just the forum only?

No. Usually just the forum, I'm too busy to go to the front page.

7. What do you like best about hR?

the fans...without a doubt the fans! I live in Cowboys country, and I starve for Redskins conversation, this site always feeds me what I need! REDSKINS 24/7!

8. What do we need to improve?

I don't know if other people have had this problem, but when I post, very rarely do I ever get an e-mail notifying me when someone else posted unless I made the thread, or I post two or three times back to back to back. I don't know how to fix this problem. I will say something that I would like to hear a response on, and 9 times out of 10 I don't get notified when someone does respond to it.

9. Are we too strict in the forum, just right, not stric enough (content wise)

I'd say just right. You can't be too loose or you'll have nothing but problems.

1. I was at HQ and I moved over here.
2. March 2003, though I did not sign up until much later. What kept me here was that the forum tends to be friendly, mature and informative and its members were articulate as to make most posts interesting and readable. The moderation (and I am not kissing up) is what sets this forum apart: dupes while a problem are at least dealt with, the unruly calmed down and the atmosphere kept civil.
3. The front page is now more useful and has become a real strength of HR. The forums have really, really grown and seems to be getting younger.
4. Better and worse. Better in that is has grown, worse in that it has grown.
5. Yes, the front page is how I get my daily Redskins news quickly and efficiently. It is a strength of the site that many people not interested in posting or reading a forum could use heavily.
6. Yes.
7. The forums and there lack of “I’m thinking this right now so watch me make a post about it,” posts.
8. Dealing with the growth of the site. There needs to be a new forum for some of the posts being made.
9. I think consistency is all that I would ask for. I kind of like the lack of soft porn in peoples sigs and the sparing use of curse words. I don’t think that language should be over policed by mods (don’t they teach the seven dirty word in school, now a days?), and people should have freedom to put what they please in their sigs as long as it’s not pornographic. Though the forums as they are currently are probably as good as its going to get in this respect. Some posts that are moved really don’t need to be, and some really need to be and are not moved…it’s kind of an odd balance.
10. No, site committed to memory.
