Who should we take with the #5, #21, and #32 picks? I'd say Sean Taylor, Steven Jackson, and Ben Watson.

What if it's a mix-up and we are trading our 5th pick for NE's 21st and 32nd picks? What kind of D-Line help can we hope to get w/ those pick - Starks maybe?

you guys shouldnt trade Clinton Portis, hes the best RB ive ever seen. From an Oakland fan he shredded up our defense into pieces and hes worth top picks not picks like the 21 and 32. So to all Washington fans do not trade Clinton Portis nno matter what

The only way I see the NE trade is if somehow Portis stated that he wanted to be the highest paid player in the league and it would make us cap poor. But if that was the case, why do the Champ trade in the first place. I don't know on this one to be honest.

chris perry will be a terrible nfl rb. i like greg jones the best out of all the rbs. watson is a really solid te.

I think Portis wants more or as much as Champ just signed for.I also believe that because he is so young that he will only want to sign for 5-6 years tops.We may have very well donre this deal knowing we could get law and 2 1st rounders.Ya gotta take that.We were willing to part with the" best "CB in the league, why wouldnt we do the same to a guy that may have turned down 3 proposals and will garner this kind of return from NE.

Udeze at 5, Starks at 21, Watson/Greg Jones at 32.
Say it with me now... just say no to Sean Taylor.

I really don't think the NE deal is happening. I don't see anything about it anywhere. None of the draft sites seem to mention the rumor, the newspapers aren't carrying it, espn has nothing. Unless I see the Washington Post or ESPN run an article, I'm not putting much stock in it. That being said, I think the deal works either way. Law and two firsts isn't a bad package, but keeping Portis is also good for us. I think if the Skins can sign Kliensasser and Kearse then trade down with Houston (so they can draft Sean Taylor) the Skins can still get either Tommie Harris or Vince Wilfork and pick up a 2nd round pick.
Skins D:
Renaldo Wynn
T. Harris/V. Wilfork
Brandon Noble?
Jevon Kearse
Lavar Arrington
Jeremiah Trotter
Antonio Pierce/2nd rounder?
Fred Smoot
Matt Bowen
I. Ohalette
FA CB (Springs?)

IF it were to go down there is no way we can pay for 3 #1s. I'd trade the #5 pick for a slew of second and third round picks (this year and next if possible).

If we do get that number 21, I say we take greg jones there, i heard dallas is really big on them and may take him at 22. Always nice to screw over the cowgirls
