"Defensive linemen Jevon Kearse, Cornelius Griffin and Robaire Smith, cornerbacks Shawn Springs and Troy Vincent, tight end Walter Rasby and punter Chris Gardocki are among the players the Redskins are set to pursue when the market opens Wednesday morning."

He's been in the league 8 years. I wonder what the contract specifics are. He was scheduled to make $3 million this year.

Down here in Charleston, MAC(military Airlift Command) is based: and I joked to a friend(who is also a skins fan) when we saw 7 C-5 Galaxys(HUGE transport planes--They can hold a few hundred troops) that Bush must be helping Snyder get Free Agents to DC.....

Knowing Snyder, he probably gets paid rather well

I have to admit I don't know a lot about Daniels, but it won't take much to be a signficant improvement over what we saw last year. I second Bosshogs' sentiment and hope we didn't overpay. Again.

Is he a potential starter on the Right or Left, where Wynn currently sits?

probably over the Left Tackle so Kearse can move back to his natural position over the right tackle

So if you were a potential free agent would you rather get a ride in Danny's jet, or one of Gibbs' race cars?

I'd take the race car if he lets me drive.

I think last year I read something that he hired three crews to handle the first week of FA last year. I think he usually keeps two on the payroll.

Is this guy any different than Reynoldo Wynn? Looking at the numbers, I can't see much of a difference. Is it just me?

Daniels, who turns 31 tomorrow, received a five-year, $11 million contract that included a $3 million signing bonus, NFL sources said. He was cut by Chicago on Monday in advance of a roster bonus that was due today.

Doesn't indicate just how back-loaded the deal is, however.

He can play anywhere on the line though and he adds alot of depth and that's what we need!

1906 was wondering the same thing, but maybe the stats don't tell the whole story? Wynn is a graduate of the Big Daddy Wilkerson school of how to do nothing,,,,,,,,,,,and get paid for it!!! Maybe Daniels atleast looks like he's trying!!!???
