I was curious why the SKins had Bobby Taylor on their list, but riddle me this: What if the Skins signed him and moved him to Free Safety. He could also be the nickle-CB and spot starter in case someone got hurt. Also Smoot is a UFA after the season, so if his demands are too high, Taylor could replace him

Bobby Taylor wants a lot of money. That's the single biggest disincentive to signing him. We just gave Springs a $10 million signing bonus. No more back there.

Money has to go to the Dline . . . if you expect the TEam to improve !

I think Taylor realizes that his big money contract days are behind him. I think we need more depth at cb and he would be a good fit. Last year Springs and Smoot missed time with injuries and when Smoot was down we were really vulnerable. There are slim pickens when it comes to good pass rushers left in FA. I think we sure up the secondary and address d-line in the draft.

I think if it came down to it Taylor would go to Dallas where he would be a starter before coming to DC to be a nickle back.

maybe they want to push his price higher to stick it to whoever signs him ... make them cash-poor

Speaking of our CB depth.....it makes me nervous.

Don'tworry we stil have Jimoh! J/K I think Bauman played pretty well last year. No telling what he can do with some real coaching!

Smoot will be a redskin for life.....he just seems like a player that sticks around and wont demand to much money. Snyder loves him and so does everyone on the team.....hes a keeper....forever.

i think our secondary and linebackers are fine now. we just need to focus on the dline.

Our secondary is fine as long as Springs and Smoot are both healthy the whole year. Lord Farquad is a good nickle option but he can't start. When Smoot went down last year he got toasted.

I always thought Taylor was good.

I like this deal! The only hitch is, would someone take Udeze before us? I say if that happens we trade down again for more picks and take Starks from UMD.

Yea Starks or Wilfolk would fit nicely.

Here's a thought: Why don't we re-sign Ifeanyi Ohalete?
