Who are we going to grab to play at TE? Kleinsasser is gone, we might go after Winslow in the draft, and I've heard rumblings about our old TE Rasby (by the way what's he been up to as of late?). If you've heard something I'd love to hear about it!
(note: this is my 100th post!)

Congrats on the 100. I am pretty sure we are going to sign Rasby, but I don't have a source on that.

i would not bet on winslow...i think they are gonna get rasby to block and hold on to chamberlain to see if he can get back into shape to be the pass catching te he was a couple years ago...he was a pro bowler...also, we do have a third round pick from a couple years ago who has looked decent at times but cant seem to stay healthy...

Either we stick with Rasby and Chamberlain or Royal, go for Winslow, or trade down and pick somebody else. I don't know what it's going to be, but I think we will stick with Rasby and whoever wins the other position out of Chamberlain and Royal.

I believe Coach Gibbs was quoted (when he found out Rasby was at Redskins Park) as say "lock the doors..."

Well, Joe must have missed a door because Rasby reportedly left and is going to visit other teams....

I think they want to see what he can do (assuming he shows up in shape). If he shows up at camp as out of shape as he was last year.... :guillo:

Wish we knew a little more about Chamberlain, did they size him up in any way yet? Sounds like he could turn into either a real keeper or a complete zero?!? I like Rob Royal and wish him well, I'd like to see them make something out of him. By any stretch of the imagination does anyone think the young guy Ware can be a longshot?

Coach Gibbs will give B. Chamberlain a chance to lose weight and compete.. he has been a pro-bowler who was injured last year in Minnesota and was cut when he showed up healthy but fat. So he could emerge as the receiving TE and Rasby the blocking TE. He also wanna look at Royal and even B. Johnson at HB. All this is leading me to believe they won't draft Winslow (Draft Taylor!).

what about bruener from pitt?

You beat me to Bruener, I think he would be a great fit here. He can block the lights out and did catch a ball every now and then in Pittsburgh. I think he's a better all-around choice than Chamberlin and Rasby, though the two of them would be a better combination that Bruener alone.

I think Chamberlain sees the writting on the wall and will come in in shape. He has good Size and good hands, this is is best shot at reviving his career.

if chamberlain does not do it this year then he will not revive his career. gibbs lives behind the te and this is his absolute best shot. at his size, hs should be able to do whatever he wants, block or pass.....and we give up nothing.
we either draft taylor or trade down with teams wanting (and they will) to trade up. the skins do not need wr or rb, they need dl but only where they should be.....a few slots down.
