I watch a ton of college football and so wanted this guy to be around when we made our 3rd round pick (when we had a third round pick). He is not as experienced as the big names coming into the draft as he immigrated to the U.S. during HS, but he remains my sleeper. He might be able to play either DT or DE and when his mental game catches up to his physical game, watch out! I think he will be a player that truly reaches his "positive up side". Check out this quote from his work out.

"Oregon junior DT Igor Olshansky impressed with his strength. In fact, Olshansky did 43 reps at 225 pounds - and nearly got 44".

I will miss having more picks in the draft.

We could trade down, take him or Sean Jones in 2nd.

The team is emphasizing production over potential the past 2 seasons. If we were winning games, we might have been able to get a player like this.

Yeah, the last two years have sure been productive. I hope Bruce comes back. Maybe he can learn a swim move with a cane and up his sack record.

This guy is a workout player - not very good on the field.

You obviously have never seen him play and do not know what you are talking about. He may not be very experienced and is a little raw, but he has improved every year and at times is dominating. Not a workout player at all, but more of a prospect who needs to improve some technique for the next level. Not first rounder if you read my post, but a soild 3rd or 4th.

VA, the guys at NFL Network loved Olshansky during the combine. He ran a pretty good 40 and as you mentioned dominated on the bench. They thought he solidified a spot in 2nd round with his workout.

That's interesting thanks! What I meant by him being more than a workout player was that he is not a player that only shows up on drills he plays too.

I saw him play 4 times this year and he's not very good. And I am the smartest person on this board.

Are you his agent or something? I didn't know many people from VA followed Oregon football.

Wow... what a fact!

Do you have a link to that one? Or can I look at it somewhere else? Maybe a paper that confirms that.... otherwise, maybe you should think twice before making such assumptions.

I heard at 6-6 315 lbs, he ran a sub 5.00 40, which is really good.

He has alot of up as a potenial NFL DT. A two year project player and will probably be drafted somewhere 80 - 100. If we ended up with a pick in that area he would be on my board for consideration BUT only if we have picked up a starting DT or DE.

I will let your tone and ignorance speak for itself in retort.

First of all who ever said u were even smart to enough to make a post saying ur the smartest person on the board. You certainly haven't seen him play bc VA is most definitely right. I watched 6 of his games on TV bc my neighbor gets this special college football thing and he is most def. underated at a 3rd round pick. He is getting better and will be an impact player in his 2nd year for sure. Redskinsfan28 u are mentally retarded and i am smarter than you. get it through ur head, u are a complete nitwit!

The "I'm the smartest person on the board" was obviously an attempt to interject some humor into the discussion. Lighten up Francis!

I still think Igor will be a backup player at best.
