Iran to Renew Nuclear Efforts

Iran made good on recent threats yesterday and announced that it will resume building equipment essential for a nuclear weapons program, despite its agreement with three major European powers.

They say it is for power yet they're sitting on all the oil they will ever need.

North Korea has warned it could carry out a nuclear test if demands for aid are not met, US officials said

A nuclear test by North Korea would add to regional unease and pressure its neighbours to join a nuclear arms race.

After Iraq, if I was North Korea or Iran, I would develop Nukes to keep the US at bay. Wouldn't you?

Wmd was supposed to be the reason behind Iraq. So if I was Iran I'de back off per Libia. North Korea needs power and China got thier back. There is no stopping them.

i don't necessarily know that china supports NK on this one. north korea is run by a crazy man who has launched test missiles in just about every direction over the past couple years. if i was leading china i sure as heck wouldn't want nuclear technology up there!

i would for sure...north korea did it the smart way though (never thought i'd hear that)...they reportedly have missiles that can reach our mainland ready to be tested so all they need now is the weapon that mode of transportation is going to carry.

They already have them. They can reach the west coast, but not much further.

reportedly...when i did my thesis on this they still hadn't been tested...they were ready to do that though and were working on designs to reach the midwest
