Default Megaphones at FedEx?

While watching the game last night I noticed the crowd noise in Seattle was amazing. When the cameras panned the crowd I noticed alot of fans were using cheerleader megaphones to amplify their voices. I know the QWest Field stadium guidelines like FedEx prohibit the use of horns but, obviously they don't enforce the rule.
Has anyone ever tried taking megaphones into FedEx? I don't recall ever seeing any myself.
If we can get away with using these it would definately be advantageous.

Here is what I know.

I know last year for the dallass game I walked in with a plastic Redskins cup where I cut the bottom out of it. The security person specifically asked what it was and I said "A homemade megaphone" to which he half laughed and said "cool".

Spence-it, I am calling the ticket office now. (Oops, isn't open until 9)

My plan is to find a compant to make these on the cheap and I'll hand them out to fans that I see are into the game. I wat the rowdies to have something to make them rowdier and I don't see how or why the Skins would ban that as they are not noisemakers. I plan to move on this pretty quickly (i.e. this week) so if anyone can contribute, please PM... Maybe the owners want a slice of the pie and would be willing to brand them with the HR logo? Maybe someone here owns or has a relationship with a printing company we can leverage. Bottom line is that I need to do this on the cheap b/c it is coming out of pocket. I figure if I give out 10 a week that will make a HUGE difference in the crowd noise and enthusiasm. We all know how Americans get excited for something free.

If anyone has any thoughts or wants in on the action, let me know. I assume if we buy them in HUGE bulk then we'll get a good discount.

I just left a voicemail for the VP of Operations... Nobody I spoke thought it would be an issue, but they weren't sure.

If you really wanna make noise at the stadium, I have some "european" ideas, but only if you don't mind spending the night in jail....

I'm thinking that as long as it's not an amplified bullhorn or just too big it would probably be ok. I'm thinking something <= 12" and wear it into the stadium like a hat.

Let me know if you want to do a bulk order? I'll contribute to that. Heck, we could even have one of our resident artists do up a cool graphic or logo.

Well, BofA does the Redskins credit card so that should be our starting point. Of course I could always propose the idea to Chase as a way to penetrate a competitors market... the problem is that it takes so much time to get fuinding and approval. However, we can start small and think bigger for the long term.

Sounds like a plan.... Lets wait to hear back from Chris @ the Redskins and then make a plan. It was originally BNG's idea last season so I'll let him drive.

To the owners of HR -- Is this something where you might be interested in a branding opportunity? We could reach out to some of our current advertisers to discuss a co-branding opp?

Let me know.

The thing is I thought we were pretty loud in the 4th qtr Sunday. Than last night I was discussing the game atmosphere with my bride and she said "No You, were loud! Nobody infront beside or behind us was even screaming when our D was on the field." It made me think if I'm going to be pulling enough noise to compensate for about 25 people or so I'm gonna need a little help.
Anyway, I'm gonna try to get one in for the carolina game.

I HEAR YOU BRO... not to hijack this thread, but i am really upset at skins fan, for one i think some would rather we lose to have something to talk about.....second, i saw far to many dallass jersey's at the game, i was very upset....finally i hate the boos, you pay for the tickets so you have the right to boo, but it doesn't help us, only the other team
