PacMan suspended for '07 season
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slu...v=st&type=lgns
It's about time the league started getting serious about behavior.
Also Chris Henry has been suspended for 8 games in '07.

YES!!!
This is absolutely fantastic news, and I applaud the commish for taking such a hard stance against this behavior.
Take that Deion Sanders you excuse making piece of dog excrement.

He'll be suspended longer if there's any more charges.

The union will appeal(because they sort of have to do a pro forma appeal), but PacMan is screwed. He violated the terms of his contract with the Titans and the league by not reporting two arrests.
EDIT:
Oh, and:

Good job. The NFL needs to stand up and take a stance on violent off field behavior.
Good by and good riddance.

With all this free time on his hands, I'm betting he is either a)dead or b)in jail around this time next year.

maybe Pacman will stop being in the wrong places after this. Then again now he has all this time to himself. No telling what he will get into now that he doesnt have to worry about football.

This is great. This kind of thing is the only thing these thugs will understand.
I was watching Henry interviewed on NFL Network last week. I was ready to give him a break depending on what he said. When asked about what he would say to the fans of the Bengals who were "scratching their heads" over all his arrests, he basically said this:
"Well, if they were scratching their heads, then they weren't true fans anyway. Those that stood beside me through all this are my real fans."
And that was it for me. A total idiot who completely missed the point. Totally clueless about what his actions mean to the fanbase of a TEAM that's been around a lot longer than he has, and that will be here long after he's gone. He had to make it all about him, like all these morons do. He had no concept of how his actions disgraced the team and hurt the long-suffering fans of that team. What a complete and utter scumbag. Wish his suspension was as long as PacMan's.

Three words:
Life. Time. Ban. Talent shouldn't trump behavior and playing in the NFL is a damn privledge -- not a right b/c you have some God given (or drug enhanced) ability. Sadly the league is years behind on this one and the previous regime just wasn't tough enough against the players.

At least we're still ahead of baseball and pro wrestling.
