Oh, I think they're scared. 3-1 against the Celtics this year. How sweet is that? I really hope the Bullets can get past Cleveland and David Stern's poster-child, because I can definitely see the Bullets bringing some pain to those pansies in green.

The refs are not going to allow Lebron to take a 1st round exit. Les Boulez are doomed.

lol Ok Farmer Ted I hope we see you in an extended series. One of your wins came with Ray allen out and the another when the celts are resting starters and trying out different rotations now that they have the best record in the league wrapped up and on a second game of back to back on the road. None of the big 3 broke 40 mminutes in playing time, and Garnett had 30 mins.

I am not saying the wiz are not good, they are, but the Celtics are going to play with a miission in the playoffs, you watch. If you get by cleveland you will have a rested and ready Celtics team.

I think I will keep this thread on my favorites list for a couple of weeks from now.

The thing is that the Bullets match-up well against the Celtics (When healthy). Butler/Jameson make Pierce/Garnett work harder on the defensive end than they normally have to. Allen wins the match-up with Stevenson, but you have no answer for Arenas.

There's no doubt the Celtics are the better team, but it's one of those things where the Bullets have decent match-ups. Still in a 7 game series I give the nod to the team with home court.

As I said though, it will be moot. The refs are not going to let Lebron lose in round one.

Yup, that's the rub. Davy won't let his golden boy lose in the first round. The Bullets' best chance is to tank the rest of the season and move into the 6th seed. I'd rather play Orlando in the first round, and upset the Celtics in the conference finals.

Alright lets break it down:

PG Rajon Rondo vs. Gilbert Arenas: Edge obviously goes to Washington here. But Rondo has turned into a supreme defender. I would not assume Arenas is going to have his way.

SG: Ray Allen vs. Deshaun Stevenson Edge here to Boston. S tevenson has turned into a nice scorer but Raay should own this matchup.

SF: PAul Pierce vs. Caron Butler Even. Pierce has had a monster year but so has Butler. I am going to say it is about even.

PF: Kevin Garnett vs. Antwaan Jamison Big edge Boston. Sure Jamison is a fine fine player, but this its the big unit whose defense and leadership is the reason for the best turnaround in NBA history.

C: Kendrick Perkisn vs. Brendan HAywood Even. Both are last options offensive wise for their team and like to clean up on the boards.

Bench Edge Boston. Washingotn will have decent minutes from Daniels but Songolai and Blatche are nothing special. Boston has a true second unit with House, Cassel, Allen, Posey, & PJ Brown ready to go and give good minutes and proper rest for the starting 5.

I am betting in a best of 7 with each team healthy Celts win 4-2

You didn't include Roger Mason Jr.,who had a very good year
or rookie Nick Young, who is more physically talented than
anybody you can bring off the bench.

You're assuming they won't have some coin down on the upset.

celtics win..

not only are they the better team, there is NO WAY stern lets the nba's best story go down the drain in one of the early rounds..

celtics will at least make the eastern finals.. my guess is a celtic/spur finals
