I hope you're wrong on this one akh but I could see a scenario similar to this playing out. I'm not ready to give up on DT or MK just yet though, not with ARE and Moss being the only other WR's. Hopefully we dont trade up but if we do I could see them dangling JC or Los. Maybe not to the Jags but to someone in an effort to recoup a pick or two.
I do however like the Francois pick late...the others Im not too familiar with.

So, would trading away DT be looked at as Cerrato making a mistake drafting him? If so, I doubt we see that happening.
I am really starting to feel worse with each day that passes over Sanchez. The fact we didn't get Cutler makes me think Danny Boy is going to do everything possible to get Sanchez.
Hopefully the Seahawks save us from ourselves

Maybe they'll make up an excuse like they did with Taylor?

Snyder, according to Peach King, won't part with next year's first. That all but eliminates us from trading up into the top 5-6. If he's there at 8, the skins will be competing with the Jets for him I bet.

That's a mess. Why would we get rid of Devin Thomas, we need him this year. Let's not jump the shark...

Because the skins have Dirty Sanchez stars in their eyes lol.
And as soon as we decided to try and trade for Cutler or trade up for Sanchez, that shark was jumped lol.

True, they really already jumped it, the mock looks crazy, but I wouldn't put it passed them. But, I am hoping this doesn't happen, I would like to see what Devin Thomas grows into as a player.

Agree the skins may try to move to #8 to take Sanchez. I think Seattle wants players with impact now while Hasselbeck is still their man, so Sanchez would be an expensive backup QB for a few years. I think it's unlikely he goes at 4.
I also think either Denver or SF would take him, so #8 is the key spot.
But I don't think the skins would agree to Thomas in the deal. Why get a new franchise QB if he only has smurfs to throw to? Usually year 2 or 3 is when WR start producing anyways.
I do think though that if there is any deal for Sanchez, they have to trade Campbell and get what they can - maybe a #4 or #5 at best, since he is a FA. Use that pick on a developmental lineman.
One other possibility is the 49ers - who are Defensive minded under Singletary. How about #10 to the Skins + one of their Safeties (Moore or Horton) and #13?
One fly in the ointment is - given what he saw Joe Flacco do - I can see Ryan and the Jets selling the farm to get to #8 or #4 to get a shot at Sanchez - mostly because they need him more desperately than the 'Skins.

Agreed. Frankly, I'd deal Moss and roll with Thomas.

definitely Moss has far more value than Thomas. Teams love his speed and moves. Thomas is just potential.
