Microsoft to buy EA?

If this does happen, this will be the end of gaming consoles and games as we know it. When console makers buy the software companies to develop titles exclusive for their systems, it can make for a very narrow market. One such as this, would cripple Sony and put a slight hurt on Nintendo. Of course this may be all rumors and such, but I wonder if the news came out to boost both EA and Microsoft's stocks.

I think Nintendo is need of good kick in the pants. I found the Wii to be totally unimpressive...........
