McCauley looks like a decent find, although I don't expect him to be here long with there only being a couple days left in the season lol.

McCauley and Hill both had 1st round talent, but 7th round(7th round in Canada) heads. Boom/bust. Pretty standard Bruce Allen MO.

Finally a real GM. These might or might not be positions of need, but they are players he feels have a shot of making squad, and we have more holes than 2 drafts can fill. Maybe nothing comes of it, but it is a smart tactical move with the season lost.

We don't know what our RB or CB situation wb like next year....maybe this is the beginning of the Roster being turned over.

The important thing is the additions were for next year, meaning that there is a semblance of GM activity. We can only hope.

It might mean the Skins won't blow the #1 pick on a cornerback.

I can see Shanahan signing/drafting athletic linemen and if he keeps JC, using him on rollouts more often. Its all a guessing game right now.

Mcauley was being projected in the top half of the first round by a lot of people. I think our CB's might not get the overhaul they really need, but he's a great addition over barnes or possibly smoot. it seems the strategy here is to get talent and coach them up with our new regime, which would appear to be common sense, but only to us fans lol.
