Default Rams

has anyone watched this game tonight? the rams look like the most inept team ever. bradford is throwing very irradically and inaccurately. nobody can catch. their playcalling is horrible (thanks, mcdaniels!). sparano just challenged the dinkiest onside kick i've ever seen, and he's completely wrong it's just a complete mess.

the skins are hard to watch sometimes, but this rams team looks absolutely abysmal.

you mean Spagnuolo..Sparano got fired as Dolphins coach today

on one hand, i would love to see that douchebag Spagnuolo get fired.. and he will.. but if he stays, we are just about assured that the Rams wont take a QB with the second pick overall (or third).. that helps us

I don't understand why the Rams hired Josh McDaniel. I think his presence has cursed them somehow. Their offense sure took a step backward this year (although their defense did, too).

why ? because McDaniel is the "genius" who is responsible for Brady being what he is...

as much as i hate Snyder, i loathe Spagnuolo for being a bigger douchebag
than anyone could have even guessed and for sticking us with Zorn for 2 years

Karma is getting him for that.. then he can go back to being a "genius" DC for some team and ride on the coattails of coaches like Reid or Coughlin,,

he had a great QB coming out of college and one of the best RB's in the league and has still managed to screw things up royally...

Shally-
(1) Why do you have such a low opinion of Spagnuolo? You cannot really blame him for sticking us with Zorn? Spagnuolo did not want to come here because he knew that throwing your lot in with Vinny and Dan was career suicide. He made that clear in the interview, which caused Vinny to go into self-protective, face-saving mode and release publicly the ridiculous notion that Spagnuolo told him in the interview that he was not ready to be a head coach. Is it Spagnuolo's conduct and smug attitude as a DC that has set you off? Just curious.

(2) If Spagnuolo is fired, but GM Billy Devaney is not, I doubt Devaney goes for a QB after he drafted Bradford #1. Bradford has shown signs of being really good, he just needs health and better personnel around him. I suspect Devaney gets him a wide receiver like Blackmon if he does not draft for a CB or OT (Jason Smith has been a bust). However, if the Rams do take a QB, that could work out great for us, because it would probably mean they'd have to trade Bradford. Shanahan made no secret of his lust for Bradford the year he came out. With the QB market being slower this year than last, and with issues regarding Bradford's health and performance in a Rams uni, we could probably get Bradford for something like a 3rd-round pick, and then use our 1st rounder on a stud WR or CB to replace MeAngelo, or to trade down for a bounty of picks like the Browns and we did last year.

The Rams taking a QB could be the best thing that ever happened to us. But we would need to protect Bradford and keep him healthy. As I know you agree, we need linemen. Every time Shanny praises Montgomery, it scares the heck out of me.

Bradford has regressed and our guys aren't exactly adept at QB evaluation. A trade for him would scare me.

+1

No reason to go down that road when we're going to have a pick in the top-8. Pick the rookie we like and go get him.

i dont see us trading for Bradford.. if Palmer fetched 2 first rounders, no doubt Bradford would cost as much.. i would rather draft the next starter

i cannot stand Spanuolo because he played the Redskins and Snyder and strung us along so that we were boxed into a corner..a lot of that is Snyder and Vinnies doing for sure, and I cannot stand them either.. but Spagnuolo was, and is a douchebag.. hope he loses and gets fired.. glad he isnt our coach after all is said and done

I don't recall that process really well, but my understanding was that he balked when the Skins tried to shove a pre-determined OC (Zorn) down his throat. Is that not right?

Despite whatever happened in those meetings I give Spags 100% benefit of the doubt compared to Snyder and Vinny.
