Default Shanahan Approval Poll Post Regular Season Game 15

Here is the chart now vote!

Just a word about thios poll going forward.

I will do one poll at the end of the season then the weekly poll will stop, and I will try and do a poll periodically in 2012 around major bench marks such as:

Post Superbowl

Before Free agency. (March)

Post Free Agency (ealy April)

Post NFL Draft (Mid April)

Opening of trainincamps (July)

closing of traininc Camp (august)

And then the weekly poll series resumes in the pre-season. I will try to continue to keep a good history of the poll as , well, I find it fun.

Refreshing to hear his Monday comments and disturbing at the same time.

I am stuck at disapprove until I see what occurs during Free agency and the draft.

I cannot approve of any circumstance in which Rex Grossman is brought back in any capacity, unless he is one of the folks scanning the tickets at Fed-ex field.

While I had some hope last week I am back to strongly disapprove until I see more then worsds happening at Redskins park. We need change in the offensive and defensive coaching staffs and a real qb. Until that happens Shanny is what his record says he is, a losing coach whose team loses to 2 win teams

I'm in the slightly disapprove, only because I like some of the gems that we may of found in Helu and Royster. While I am pissed at some of the other turds we have found as well in Kyyyle and Grossman.

I can see clearly that we need to find a great QB, and I pray that RGIII is not returning to Baylor. Even if we sell the farm for Luck, or sell an acre or two for RGIII, it will be worth it. I love the athleticism that RGIII could bring to DC that we have never seen before in the B&G.

Edit: We really need a good DC as well. Haslett would get stumped at the kid's puzzle menus at Dennys.

what bothers me abotu Shanny's comments on Monday and in the Mase article is his insistence that he did not know the leck of depth on the team. It is a tacit omission that he ignored depth on the OL.
Maybe, just maybe 4 wr choices and a ton more in free agency could have been better spent fixing the ol.

He had six draft picks and used three of them on offensive linemen. And he also traded for another offensive lineman.

Yup. Makes you wonder what the hell he was looking at the past 2 years.

He also cut Chad Rinehart, who's been a starter this year in Buffalo. Their offense is a hell of a lot better than the Skins'. I'm thinking he could've at least been a decent 3d tackle on the team.

I have been consisently at strongly disapprove. The rex decision has locked that in from very early on.

It funny to hear his this is much harder than I thought speech from Monday's presser. Thats its gonna take much longer than I anicpated take. Which goes back to wat I always believed and have argued around here Shanny anticipated winning very early and tried winning very early he was never of the mindset of a longterm rebuild.

Which makes the Rex decision that much more alarming. Either he was sold that his son knew what he was doing when he got sold the Rex idea to begin with OR he thought even if Rex craps the bed my guy Beck who I think can play will dig us out and neither happened. Which throws into question his general coaching acumen.

I wasn't for firing Shanny and still am slightly leading toward giving him the time but I just don't know if a coach that makes those sort of decisions deserves more time.
