Looking like a great decision by Dan Snyder
On another note ESPN is suspecting that he may have a Bi-polar disorder on NFL Live.

I agree, but I think this wishful: if he is indeed bipolar, its not like he is going to need years of physical therapy to recover; rather, he will be in playing shape fairly soon.

Shannahan didn't take a risk on Gardner, he just got unlucky. 32 out of 32 coaches in the NFL would sign a player that was voted his team's defensive MVP and probably should have been in the pro-bowl. It wasn't a coincidence that Bruce Smith had 9 sacks and our defense finished 5th overall with Gardner and Wilkinson. I think Gardner would have had another great year with us and Snyder didn't choose not to resign him because he duobted that. It was basically Coles over Gardner which ultimately was the right decision, but Gardner would have been the same monster I predicted he would be for us the very day he was signed.

Of course he has a bi-polar disorder!
He is happy and nice when he needs a contract, but he is unhappy and mean once he gets his contract.

What is Baret Robins (sp) doing? I doubt that there is a team that would not take him, as he may be had for the cheap. Hopefully, the Broncos will have the sense and class to help their teamate through a rough time, unlike the Raiders, who should be ashamed of themselves.

Cmon lay off the guy. If he is bi-polar that's extremely rough to live with and he'll probably have to go through a bunch of therapy and possibly be medicated. No need to kick a man when he's down.

There is no question that he will have to be medicated, and their is no doubt that he will be fine if he sticks with it. The guy is a bit of a jerk, bipolar or not.

Washington Post reports that Gardener could ponder a return to Washington (after his release). His top choice of teams are the Redskins or Cincinnati. ................ IF I were him (at 30), I'd go play for the one coach who got me back on track. He'd probably do better by finishing out his career in Cincy with Lewis.
Damn - I hate to see guys waste thier talent.

Didn't Denver give a hefty signing bonus? So cutting him after this year would have major implications on their cap - right? I didn't read the article, but is Denver trying to get some cash back?
I'd like to have him back here too, but I'd still like us to get some young blood on the D-Line. Him and Russell in the middle, with two young-ins on the outside ... that'd be sweet.
