Default Bush Not So Fondly Remembered...

...by one of his professors.

http://www.glocom.org/opinions/essay...umi_president/

"At Harvard Business School, thirty years ago, George Bush was a student of mine. I still vividly remember him. In my class, he declared that 'people are poor because they are lazy.' He was opposed to labor unions, social security, environmental protection, Medicare, and public schools. To him, the antitrust watch dog, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Securities Exchange Commission were unnecessary hindrances to 'free market competition.'"

Wow, that guy has the best memory ever; I mean to remember precisely what someone said 30 years ago? Could it be possible that said professor does not like him is now making stuff up? Is this even a story? Further, we all say crazy things in college. That is what college is for and I don’t think we should be giving people crap because of their opinions where they were twenty. Hey I heard that Kerry said that “Girls have cooties,” when he was ten. What a chauvinistic sexist monster!

Geez, Yudolindo. Did you have gunpowder for breakfast?

Maybe it isn't a story, per se, perhaps just an interesting side note. And you're right, this was years and years ago, before Bush became a righteous born again--a transformation that infused him with a grand sense of charity. So much has changed over his long, arduous journey.

And this isn't college. It's business school, and by that point, say mid to late twenties, most of us, saving a holy metamorphosis, are fairly set in our ways. I'll repeat 'most of us.'

I have been back and forth to the Pentagon all day so I am testy...trying to find anything there is a pain that words cannot describe, not to mention the place smells like death the security is annoying at times and the traffic sucks. I disagree about the whole twenties thing: I don’t think we should be liable for anything we say until we are thirty and well out of school. Most people that I know in there twenties still know nothing.

I'm only 18 but Oscar Wilde once said 'I am not young enough to know everything"
