Vision Quest: In an Instant
After hearing the terrible news today I tried to write a blog summarizing what a tragedy this was and what a special player Sean is. To read it click below:
Vision Quest: In An Instant
I did not do a playoff rooting card for this week as I don't have the heart for it, but I may later on in the week.

I know I am only echoing the opinion of others, but your words were so moving I needed to say that I agree most heartily - fine column!

Dustin, that is one fine eulogy. Thank you for putting into words what we are all feeling in our hearts. Goodbye, Sean. You will be hard to ever forget.

I can't even continue reading this. It's just too emotional right now.

Thanks Dustin, very well said my friend. I've never cried so much for someone I've never met as I have today. My son woke me up this morning befor ehe went to school to tell me that Sean passed away, the hurt in his eyes was obvious, I hugged him and told him i knew just how he felt, we all know just how he felt...RIP Sean. I told my son that one things for certain... no one's going "across the middle" in heaven now that #21 is playing S for Gods squad.

Thank you for writing such a beautiful piece. It is so difficult to articulate such raw, painful emotions and you did it perfectly. I couldn't make it through the entire entry without breaking down and having to compose myself. While this is so difficult to deal with, it is comforting to know that we are all here for each other and will get through this tough time together.

I am glad that you enjoyed the read. You know it is funny. I didn't get all emotional about this until this morning. I guess that I just thought no matter how bad the news, he would pull through.
When I saw the news this morning my heart sank. I immediately thought I had to write something and after I did I actually felt more at peace.
I also wanted to talk about what it was like to watch him play as a Redskin fan. I hope I got that message across.
