He is supposed to be pretty talented but may not be worth a pick as high as the 5th overall. But the workouts will tell all.

Here's what Kiper has to say about him

Quick and athletic at 6-4, 305, Starks boasts a vertical jump of better than 31 inches and squats 765 pounds. Has shown tremendous athleticism throughout his career and would have to get first-round consideration should he declare, but Starks will be one of the top defensive players in the nation if he comes back to College Park.

In the Gattor Bowl. He didn't get any recognition. And I never even heard his name after a big play. I think he should have stayed. That said, I am also a Terps fan...

Should have stayed. He could be top ten next year. But, enh, it's not a big deal to me. Hopefully it won't matter to the Skins either, since I'd like us to grab Udezee if we trade down.

I think this guy will impress people at the combine. His stock will raise. I think he could end up being considered better than wolfolk and Harris

Wouldn't that put him in the top ten?

Question about Randy Starks, since I know about his value but not his style... is he more of a run-stuffer or a pocket-collapser?

Of the top ten DL in this year's draft, R. Starks has the best potenial of them all. He'll have (as the rest of them) alot to learn in the NFL but he has soooooo many ups. There are many who project his stock will rise after the combines. Remember - he was not going to come out unless he was going to be drafted a high #1. I think alot of people have told him that the combines are what will make or break his draft position. .... The way I see it - he must feel pretty confident that he'll produces there. .... The Skins would go wrong drafting him.

Starks will be great when he learn not to play so high... He needs coaching like all DT's who come out.. In 3 years he will be good in the NFL
