Interesting. lol. I basically take the opposite approach. I have my scouts in the most populated regions...with my assumption that those areas have more local/grassroots efforts to produce better players. I'm probably taking this too literally, right?

I have a scout for Keeper, a scout for midfield and a scout for forward. I may just switch them all to midfield and hope for an influx of PM trainees. Right now, I'm so spread out in my talent its a chore trying to prioritize what training to do and when.

BTW - I just renewed my 12-month subscription to Supporter. Well worth the money!

That is actually a very good strategy. The only problem for me is that the economic update is Saturday morning at 2:00AM. lol

Ouch. But I will bet there are some die-hards awake then to make the pulls...

I just pulled this guy after he hit excellent. On the TL for 300k.

somehow people are tracking. there's a YA rapid reaction force that puts everyone participating in certain regions looking for the super studs. it's up in the forum. i'm considering jumping in on it.

I might think about it, but as I'm officially coasting this season, I haven't been able to get motivated for much. I actually forgot to set my friendly line up this week and lost my starting forward, but I don't think it will hurt my chances to stay up, so I'm not too hurt over it.

I haven't moved my scouts in a long time, and my YA talent seems to come in cycles. I have some talented kids right now and I had a gob of them when Dunn was coming through. and I had another group when the YA first came out, but that group was relatively weaker as they tweaked the system. It's not the best system, but I like that rejected players stay in the pool. During one of the dry times, I took a player who had been rejected by three teams. I did it out of pity mostly. Kids have feelings.

Pretty stoked that I finally found a guy with my last name on transfers. MAX STOUT. The first name is close enough. (Max instead of Mark) He is a passable keeper from Switzerland and will become my back up if I win the bid. Shouldn't be too hard since there are a million passable keepers on transfer.

I was browsing around hattrick and found this manager (9774688).

He is a fan of Inter, Chelsea, Barca and Bayern...as well as some Hungarian team I've never heard of. Talk about jumping on the bandwagon, huh?
