I think it shows the Bengals have no faith in Bryant's knee.

I guess they shouldn't have given him a 4 year, 28 mil dollar deal a few weeks ago lol

I hope Carson Palmer has a good psychologist and Marvin Lewis for that matter. Funny they have their own shows on VH1 and now they are on the same team.

Nobody's ever accused Mike Brown of knowing what he's doing. At least not in this state.

Indeed. It was a curious contract to begin with and now it seems that Bryant is claiming he'll be ready for TC now that speculation of him getting PUP'd (or even possible cut) has emerged.
Either way, I think he's short term at best. With the addition of TO, Gresham at TE and the reasonable assertion that Shipley can fill the slot....that's a lot of potential weapons for Palmer to work with. I think their offense could be very potent this year and they quietly had a very good D last year.

No doubt. I really, really wanted the Skins to steal Mike Zimmer. That guy is hot right now

Last night one of the chattering skulls on CBS sports radio made a compelling argument that this was a great fit for TO, and that he had a pretty impressive year in Buffalo, all things considered. (OT: Bengals play Cowboys on Aug 8 at HoF game.)

i'm glad TO signed with somebody cause now we don't have to waste time arguing for or against the skins signing him!

I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn’t find one of ‘em, not one stinkin’ dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like… victory. Someday this war’s gonna end. -- Robert Duval in Apocalypse Now

That it's a one year deal kind of mitigates the risk a bit. But I don't think they could handle much more than that. If it were 3 years I would put money on a complete locker room meltdown.

He was supposed to be introduced by the Bengals earlier on Thurs but missed the flight. Finally got there at around 9pm or so. Take your time, TO!
