TE under contract....

These are the TE we have under contract:

Leonard Stephens
Byron Chamberlain
Robert Royal
Kevin Ware
*Walter Rasby if he signs as expected
*Mike Sellers if you count him as a TE/FB

Thats a lot of camp fodder, also due to the fact that we have some interest in Winslow... Who is worth keeping from this list??

I think the best two are Rasby and Sellers since both excell at blocking... If only we could have gotten Kleinsasser...

Stephens and Ware were Spurrier guys. They will not make it far past the first cuts of camp, if that.

Chamberlain has already received a 500K roster bonus and the coaches have talked to him about getting his fat arse in shape. So assuming that Rasby signs and Gibbs likes Sellers, you have three in Chamberlain, Rasby and Sellers. That would make Royal as the odd man out, unless Sellers gets listed as a FB, which if he does, could put Rock on the chopping block.

Royal seems to be injury prone and ware is not much of a blocker.

Kleinsasser cost way too much and Rasby can do a fine job. I would rather we use the money to help sign 2 more dlinemen. Berry or Aladius Thomas from Baltimore and maybe Coleman or even Sapp to a friendly 3 year deal. I am so sick of the front office ignoring the dline so I am being greedy not that I believe Gibbs will do the right thing

Klein is a well rounded TE, thats why I thought he would be a great fit. Maybe Sellers can fill that role.
