How to Navigate Long Threads

It depends on what you theme you use. Users can change themes.

Mine has less gold, but the structure is exactly the same

Gold background rocks! I hate the other themes.

I was just curious as to how many even know that the gold was the original format for this board, not the default one used now.

Just switched over to gold for a second. Never again, lol.

Perhaps it's what I'm used to, but the burgundy is more gentle on the eyes. Not to mention it's easier to spot updated threads with the gold circle on the left column.

When did that change? I've had the burgundy since I first found the site.

It was a few years back. I think whatever one is used to is what they prefer. For me, the gold is home, lol.

Based on our member dates it must have been some time in 2005.

I'm almost positive it was much later than that. I will look to confirm but I'm thinking it was sometime in 2007.

My memory has been known to fail me, but I feel like I've been looking at the same soothing burgundy background since '05.

I know for a fact that I've never manually changed it.

June/July 2007 was when the new schemes became available and the default was changed to what it is now.

Crazy. Maybe it just seems like it's always been burgundy. I do know that I've never fiddled with settings other than avatar and sig.

Seriously, though, I'll refactor the image.

I got the new image, but honestly, the first one is fine. I just have to scroll a bit to see the whole thing....and really, IDGAF. I know how to navigate the long threads.....

When I visit the "Cherokee Redskins Tribe" forum, all threads with new posts show up in Bold...this doesn't happen when I visit any of the other forums (I.E. Off Topic, NFC East, etc.)

Is there a setting I need to change?
