Throw in Josh Brolin as Jeff D'Amato, the coach's offensive coordinator son....

"Santana Moss: 6.9. Meh. Nothing special, but a couple nice 3rd down catches"
At little tough because Moss hauled in a touchdown that was not an easy catch. I'd give him a 7.5 because of the TD and he didn't drop anything thrown his way.
Re Grossman - not much to add except that in every game he makes 3 or 4 utterly boneheaded plays, such as when he rolled left and launched it across the middle into a hive of defensive backs. Lucky the Rams defensive backfield can't catch any better than their receivers.
At 3-1 though it is fantasy he will be somehow be benched in favor of Beck who was uneven in pre-season. I can't bring myself to hate Rex because at least he is not afraid of the endzone.
Not much to learn from this game except that the Rams are truly awful.

I marked him down for that unnecessary tip which led to the 1st pick.

So that first Grossman pick bounced off someone else's hands?

After today, I am also off the Grossman bandwagon and I was very pro Grossman after the Giants game. I really thought he had changed and had at least cut back on the boneheaded plays. I was wrong. I want to see what Beck can bring to the table now. He deserves a real chance in the league. He is more accurate than Grossman and certainly smarter.
Not sure if I want any of the qbs in next year's draft not named Luck (maybe L Jones or Barkley), so that's why I wanna see Beck get a real shot. Sadly, I doubt he will as little Shanny calls the qb and little Shanny likes Grossman.

Santana is responsible for the pick.. it was a perfect pass that he let bounce of his hands..not Rex's fault
the other was clearly his fault.. for the second week in a row, Rex didnt see a linebacker in his lane..why ? he gets rid of the ball very quickly, but he is TO SHORT to see that kind of thing
Rocky had his best game ever as a Redskin
Kerrigan makes plays every game..if he keeps this up he should be a landslide pick for Def ROY
NeitherPaul nor Riley get blame for their penalties..the league is out of it's mind..the returner caused both of those penalties by refusing the fair catch and then ducking his head.. sorry, when you are running full speed in coverage and the returner is NOT signalling a FC, you cannot pull off..we might as well end punt returns and kickoffs.. just ridiculous.. the retruner was most certainly not defenseless, he CAUSED both collisions
Paul is a tremendous blocker.. expect to see him in more and more on running plays
Torain can break tackles and is more of a long distance threat.. he can wear down an opponent.. but he fumbles and isnt much of a pass catcher.
although it loses some rhythm by rotating the 3 backs, it gives the offense a great rotation
NOW on to Rex.. We can gripe all we want here, but Rex isnt going anywhere but starting as long as the team is 3-1.. you can make all the valid criticism you want (and your points, and others, are ALL valid) but the bottom line is what rules and Rex will be starting until he either gets hurt, or stinks up the field in a couple of losses.. he also made some very pretty throws and if Kyles playcalling had been better, we could have made this game easy
the O line looks better when the playcalling is more imginative..also, Torain can plant a cut back better than either Helu or Hightower and makes the Line look better as well
Bradford deserves far better.. 6 drops and bunches of bone headed mistakes while getting pounded all game-- only wish we had him.. he is the real deal

Rex will continue to be the starter, because thats what little Kylie wants. But the Iggle game may change all that. While we sit on our bye, the Iggles will struggle again up in Buffalo. Win or lose, they will come in to Fedex as a desperate team, and if Rex screws that one up we may see Beck. Unfortunately, it may not make much difference either way, but I'm itching to scratch REX off of the roster.

Please watch Robert Griffen III. He is every bit the QB that Jones and Barkley are.

I think you will have to change your mind if you want to see us succeed. We are not getting Luck. And it is going to trade away our "future" to be able to snatch Barkley or Jones. But it is necessary.

I agree with everything you stated in your writeup, Akh. I am surprised you didn't mention Kyle making some very questionable play-calls that, combined with Rex's poor decisions and Santana's flub, turned a three score rout into a 50/50 game.
Haslett also seemed to forget how we were winning, when he decided to rush a Safety and put our best pass-rusher into coverage on the Rams late, game-changing TD.
As it is, the pattern is clear. Rex plays good until the things become consequential and Kyle can't shelve his hard on for the passing game when it's time to close things out. We won't ever win a playoff game with either of these clowns running the offense.
One more thing... With the ridiculous reffing today, if I'm a defensive or special teams coach, I tell my players to make sure they make their "hitting a defenseless receiver" penalties count and that I'll pay their fines. F the NFL and Goodell! If they're going to penalize clean, physical plays and enforce this ridiculous notion that receivers/returners are entitled to catch a ball and make a move before they are hit, I'm going to make sure that my defense/ST gets the most bang for the buck when they disengage the receiver from the ball. This is the most pathetic, BS, pussy rule I have ever seen in this game.

Robert Griffin threw a lot of beautiful passes to wide open guys. My concern is his opponents didn't played defense. I need to see what he can do against Oklahoma, Okie State, Texas, etc. in the second half of the season prior to making judgements.

I think Kansas State had the top defense in the Big XII and he ate them up. I'm just stunned that he is not talked about more. 18 TD passes after 4 games is obscene.

I know all about Griffen also man and actually watched him throw the game away against KSU on Saturday. Highly intriguing prospect for sure. Has great athleticism and deep ball. Not sure however about him being a franchise nfl signal caller but certainly worth looking into. Just doesn't seem like the kind of guy the Shannys would want. Undeniable talent/potential though.
