I'll be pretty elated as long as the QB isn't from the University of Florida.

Sonny's coming out of retirement.
More likely they sign Jason Campbell again (lol).

One of my facebook friends mentioned that he was at the Bullets/Thunder game the other night. (I refuse to call them Wizards)

It would have to be a free agent not a draft pick.

EDIT: I guess it could be a rookie, but in that case it would be either: 1-a QB that they know with metaphysical certainty will be there when they pick or 2-They have a deal in place with the Rams for #2 for Rg3(but in that case, its going to leak out fairly quickly).

I don't think standing up on a table while getting a tatoo is well regarded.

Maybe if you're Steve-O

Make Cleveland think they might as well sign Flynn because we already have a trade in place for Griffin?

Next year's QB will be "Mex Mrossman" which is Rex with dyed hair and a fake mustache.

I'll take Trent Williams + Pick 6 to the Rams for Pick #2.

I would too, but the Rams wouldn't.

totally agree with your assessment.. when they made the comment that the fans would be "elated" i think one name jumps out

PEYTON MANNING

even Flynn couldnt generate that kind of excitement. Manning will have his detractors for sure, but i think, as long as he is healthy (and just HOW do they know that now while he is still under Colts contract ???) he will put a tremendous number of fans in the seats

the other possibilities are, as you say, and agreement in place with the Rams.. but why would they agree this early to trade the pick ?? that makes no sense.. unless it is an agreement in place with the COLTS for Luck ? and i dont see that either this early

the other possibility is someone like Tannehill who will be taken far far above what any other team would draft him.. at 6 !!! again, making that kind of call without even working him out is insane

or..................................... just the decision to dump Rex/Beck is enough to elate the fan base...lol

another option

were trading for Bradford

yes, he supposedly has a contract that makes him untradable.. but, new regimes mean new QB's

Rams have let Bradford's agent know that they are committed to taking a QB at #2

They will trade him to Shanahan, who has always loved him and wanted him PROVIDED Bradford is willing to help make the trade possible

The Rams will get additional picks to build around Luck or RGIII and Shanahan gets the guy he always wanted

Bradford's deal gets restructured and he becomes "tradable"

The cost to acquire Bradford isnt even close to what it would cost to move up for the number 2 pick.. say, our fist rounder, plus a 3 or 4th, with perhaps a later pick coming back to us in trade (5 or 6).. or perhaps we swap disappointing Tackles with Jason Smith coming to the Redskins and Trent Williams going to the Rams.. or we throw in Anthony Armstrong or even Moss to sweeten the deal

We get to keep our second rounder and essentially the rest of the draft to keep building around Bradford

i think everyone would be happy with that scenario
