and despite talk to the contrary, we could possibly see a Manning-Manning championship game in the NFC.. so much for avoiding it

Seattle signs Flynn. 3 years, $26 million. $10 million guaranteed.

Not what I thought he'd get. The Dolphins really have zero appeal.

The closest i can remember of two brothers competing in the NFL is when the goggolack brothers kicked against each other two times a season when the skins and giants played.probably more,i just can't remember any that were prominent.

Apparently Alex Smith and the Dolphins were talking for 5 hours today. If the 49ers and Broncos are in the Peyton sweepstakes then they are playing with fire. The 49ers were close to going to the super bowl with Smith, but if they miss out on Peyton and Smith goes to the Dolphins; I will have to laugh at them.

I would think it would be in Smith's best interest to wait unless Miami gives him an offer he can't refuse.

Also, I don't think Smith is an upgrade over Matt Moore.

Moore did well with nothing in Miami, Smith has had a carousel of HC's & OC's and did very well last year.....

Mike Tolbert signed with Carolina. Makes you think Jonathan Stewart could be on the blocks.
