Imagine if Tebow were Muslim. I can say with great certainty that he'd be the most hated athlete in the country, and not nearly as many people would come to his defense for being "sincere".

Seriously? He seems like a great PERSON, and is a good athlete, but a great player? No. He can barely play his position, and was helped tremendously by his surrounding cast. Name me another team that wins a game when their QB is 2/8 passing?
I do think he'd make a great TE project though.

Frank Wycheck? I could see Tebow having some success as an H-back.

I could see H back as well, though that position seems to get muddled a bit with TE in today's NFL. Wycheck is an interesting comparison. Tebow's the same height, about 10lbs lighter, but 243lbs is still a good size. He seems like a guy who'd consider switching positions as long as he could help his team win. I'd love to see if his next team tries the transformation.

He has skill, can't you bleeding see that?he is not a qb per say,but line him up at fb,hb,te,or even ocassional wr,he could be really great.and of course he was helped by his surrounding cast,TEAMS do that don't they?

Do you think he'd contribute to the redskins ,shally? i'd say any time you got a player that has the skill tebow has when he has the ball running with it,would be a better team, don't you agree? i certainl would not play him as being a startin qb,but if he can switch to hb,te,or even wr,he'd be a great assett to any team.
I Look for tebow to go to the jets to help sanchez grow up,to run the wild cat,and be used like slash was in pittsburg.also be a great presence in the locker room there.

Maybe arena ball,or canada, but why would any team want to sign a qb that has crapped the bed every game he has played in?

I Concur 100%.but the sports channels would spin that story more than they are spinning tebow now!

They've spun Tebow as the reason his team was winning. They were wrong.

I know this was directed to Shally, but I'd wait until Tebow actually plays the TE or H Back position before I think he'd be great at it. It's likely his best FITTING position, but then physically what does he have over Vernon Davis, Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkowski, or even Fred Davis?
I'm sorry, but you make it sound like Tebow is Barry Sanders or AP when running the ball. For a QB, he's not bad running the ball. In regards to other skill positions he ranks a lot lower.

he is NOT a true tight end.. which is why i was thinking of H Back..
but the guy is a dynamic player when he is on the field.. Ask Cromartie how much he wanted to tackle him..
the guy can play the game.. someone needs to think outside the box.. Brian Mitchell wasnt a great QB, but he set the NFL career record for yardage before he retired.

H back would be the better fit. I agree that he's a dynamic athlete, but I wouldn't go around thinking he'd be great at another position until I've seen him actually line up and play it. I do think he has potential though... just not at QB. I think keeping Tebow at QB would be a disservice to him as he could be spending time learning another position he's better suited for.
He should've never been drafted as a QB in the first place.
