I hope so. The mockups they originally unveiled didn't seem to have any extra burgundy. I'm crossing my fingers...

Now, if they can only work on changing the yellow to gold! lol

I just read that the Steelers are going to wear a throwback for a few games this year for their 80th anniversary. Isn't this our 80th Anniversary as well? I hope we wear the same throwbacks we wore for our 70th anniversary....has anyone heard anything special we're doing this year?

The Steelers - founded in 1933 - are celebrating their 80th season this year.

So are the Skins - founded in 1932 - celebrating their 81st? Or did we miss a year?

The team is making a decision on a commemorative uniform to wear this year and the announcement will come sometime in May.

OK, i admit it. I'm going to one of the 200,000 Redskins' fans who buys an RGIII jersey this year. I've still got my Cooley jersey from his rookie year [special order]. The Clinton Portis one may have to be retired.
