Jim Marshall, RIP..
If you played electric guitar, the chances are overwhelming that you either had a Marshall Amp, or wanted one.
He changed the sound of Rock guitar (along with a young guitarist named Jimi Hendricks who used his amps early on in his career).
Along with Leo Fender he shaped the sound of pop music as we know it today
RIP at 88.. Well done, a life well lived.
