Default update on Hankerson

He was on the Junkies this morning said the following:
-not yet running, walking un-assisted and doing pool work. Said he's on track and close to starting more strength training and running work, expects to be ready for all camps.

-was bummed out last season by not playing but he worked with other wr's and coaches (specifically mentioned coach Flowers) to realize that he controlled his effort and playing time. Had to learn how to practice like a pro but once that came on, he started to get it. He took responsibility for not working hard enough initially but said that once he figured it out the coaches saw it on tape and that's when he started seeing time.

-is excited to work with Garcon and Morgan, is embracing the competition and thinks that now that he has experience he can control his playing time.

-hasn't talked to RGIII but is looking foward to draft to see what moves team makes.

-was asked about Paul moving to TE and he said he's a real beast, very physical and works super hard, should be good at moving to new spot.

-was asked about his goals, said he just wants to be the best he can be, do whatever it takes to get W's for the team and make them successfull.

wasn't a lot of real detail but at least got a rough update on his physical status.

sounds like he has matured a lot and grown as a person and player..IF he can stay healthy, he can make a difference.. the one game he produced, he was open all over the field all day

exactly. That was his upside in college. He was always good at getting separation, but had problems holding onto the ball. It looked as if his hands were a lot better, though.

I really hope he can form into a good prospect for us. I really enjoyed watching him in college.
