I broke my pinky toe playing basketball. I, a non world class athlete to say the least, recovered in about three months, about a month and a half in a boot while not following any doctors guidelines. Hurt like a female dog when it happened though. I took like seven Advil on the spot and drove home on it not knowing it was broken. Hope it heals well for him.
